I have a wide foot, and it's hard to find like a nice fitting shoe.
I guess it all depends on that.
So I bounce from a 7 to a 7 1/2 to a 8.

thats how i am only opposite i have a narrow foot so i "bounce" around that same area i bought some really cute keds and there 7 but then i went to american eagle and got some flip flops and they were a 8 its just so weird
