Is there a clothes line anywhere at BWV? I want to wash some stuff but need to hand dry it.

Kristine

Only in the shower/tub. Not allowed to hang stuff outside to dry.

It's one of those little coiled up things that you pull out and hook to the other side.

So I guess you are out of luck for this trip.

I just lay a couple of dry towels on the bed and lay the items on them when I have to air dry items. The floor works, too (in case I am using the bed, LOL)

Have learned not to take very many of those "special handling" items. :)

How strange.

I remember always having one in the tub in the studios and in the walk-in shower in the 1-bedrooms. :confused3

Maybe I have BAD memory?

The walk in showers have the glass door. I don't remember a clothesline.

We hang out drip dries over the towel ranks or over the shower stall.

I remember hanging up our swimming things on a clothesline in a walk-in shower in a 1BR villa. I cannot remember which resort it was but I definitely remember hanging our things up in the shower. We've only stayed in 1BRs in BWV, OKW and VWL so it would have been one of those three.

Maybe they are installing the new styrofoam clothes line in the one bedroom villas. ;)

:rotfl2:

although my understanding was that the clothes lines were being used in conjunction with foam cups for the new telephone system installation in the "poor mans DVC" rooms.

;)

If the item isn't dripping wet you could put it on a hanger and hang it in the closet, on the shower rod, a clothes hook on the back of a door.....you get the idea.
Could also lay the items out on the ironing board if necessary!

I avoid bringing items that need special laundering now too. Once was enough for me......LOL

It's been a long time since I've stayed at BWV. But I know for certain that they have them in the walk-in showers at BCV. I know this because ours was broken on our last trip and they sent someone up to fix it. They are the type that you pull out and hook on to the other wall. They have them set up from tile wall to tile wall. So they are a bit crooked. They are just like the ones that DCL has in their tub area. They are super handy for bathing suits and small items. Hope they have them at SSR for next months trip. I plan on doing a lot of swimming. :thumbsup2

We always see stuff on balconies laying out to dry.
You're not suppose to hang clothes on the balcony.
Our last trip at BWV, we had a BW view and for two days a man left his
tidy whities hanging on the railing between my deck and his. I "flung" them
on his side the first time after asking him to remove them and he didn't.
The next day they were still there and I called the front desk and had
them come up and remove them. Gross and disrespectful.

(OK, I don't know how to highlight a quote!!)

Who or what was removed....The tighty whities or the gentelman??:goodvibes  :rolleyes1
