Clothes dryer ?

Today, after removing a load of light color clothes from the dyer, I saw metal like color lines on just about all of the clothes. At first, I thought it was ink, but looking closer saw that it was not ink. There was nothing in the dryer when I loaded the clothes in. Does anyone know what causes this?

Could it be burn marks?

No, it was not burn marks. I rewashed the clothes and all of the marks came out. I put them back in the dryer for 5 minutes and checked and new steel like marks were on the t shirts but in different areas this time. I just washed those areas off by hand, but I am stumped as to what caused them.

Something from the previous load rubbed off on the dryer drum? I'd take a clean white cloth and wipe around the inside of the dryer to see if you pick up anything.
