Well we’re still waiting and closed on the 18th. Anyone else? I thought it would be quicker this time since we’re already members

We closed on the 22nd, deed recorded on the 26th. A few days behind you and we are still waiting too.

Still waiting here, too. I'm not too concerned about booking as our next trips won't be until October '26 and February '27, but I've been thinking about buying some direct points once my account is set up and I'm a member. Hoping it's done in time to look at current incentives.

Well, I got the first 2 emails today (about 5 hours ago)... still waiting on the 3rd one (I assume that's the one with the Club ID?). At least I know there's progress!

Did your third email come in and was it the Club ID? We just got the contract confirmed and activation code emails.

Yes and yes! The 3rd email came in at 11 pm, so 7.5 hours after the first 2, and it did have the Club ID. I was able to log in today!! Yay!

Sadly, Im thinking you are correct. I think my title company held contracts and sent them in to be recorded in big batches (since we passed ROFR quickly, but fell into the holidays and also the rush to close before new fees-which were announced after we were already in the process lol) rather than right after when they actually closed, which in most cases I could care less, but this one time it could cost us the use of the only points we will have usable to us until 2027. But oh well, we knew that was a possibility going in so..lol. Either way we are still happy with our add on to our BR contract.

Sadly, Im thinking you are correct. I suspect the same happened to 2 contracts for me. We signed 12/19 & during that closing I asked if the other party had already signed & was told yes, but our contract didn't actually close for a week after, then didn't record for 3-4 more business days. I'm not desperate for the points, but want to be able to book Christmas 2026 in a few weeks so am somewhat anxious for them. The other one the sellers took 5 weeks to sign, but was also delayed between sign vs close vs recording. It seems like some title companies for sure move faster than others. I also don't fully understand that yes Disney was closed for 2 weeks, but why contracts couldn't close during that time either to be ready/waiting for them when they re-opened. It seems like the title companies contributed to this backlog with their own policies.

Booked our May and Thanksgiving trips last night for 2026. Those points were gone fast

I had the same thought. Everything was ready to close the day before Disney shutdown. Why couldn’t we close and deed record (county was still open) and have everything nice and ready the day Disney opened. I contacted my title to get the exact day it was sent to Disney just so I could adjust my expectation of when to see the points.

This is exactly my frustration. Returned documents and sent funds. When I hadn't heard anything after a week, I contacted them, thinking maybe sellers hadn't returned documents yet. Nope, won't close until after Disney re-opens... why?? Plus they got to hang onto my money for 2 more weeks that it could have been in MY account.

But... deep breath... it's DONE now.

We bought two contracts on the same day and have a smaller (75 point) second contract which we signed the contract for and sent funds on 4th December which still hasn’t closed!

Both contracts were paid for on the same date and our bigger contract closed on the 19th Dec. I chased the status of the smaller contract up on 30th Dec and was told they were awaiting the sellers paperwork being delivered and would close asap. Still haven’t heard a thing and getting rather impatient now, we still have the deed recording plus the wait for Disney to load points on top!
