Since the deed is recorded, would I be able to still ask? It’s not a ton of points to bank, just 14. I could probably make a trip happen in Jan or Feb but the availability for Jan and Feb look really bad already!

I have 106 points expiring jan 31, that I won't likely get access to until early November, hoping to be able to squeak out some kind of booking to use them o_O

You can have sellers bank before contract which I have done. I’m not sure about after though being that the points would be different than what’s on the contract that was signed. If you don’t have points loaded soon it’s always worth an ask.

For anyone else reading this. Never expect a contract to have points loaded in less than 90 days. Alway ask that a seller bank them before signing. So many things cause slow downs in resale and it’s so stressful watching your banking deadline approach day by day.

In my case these are 2023 points banked into 24, the full 2024 points are already banked into 2025. If I can use the 2023 points great, if it doesn't work out, that's life.

This is the hard one that you have just sit back and hope the mouse doesn’t get to keep it.

This is my first contract so I am learning that lesson the hard way!
 
Oof- May the DVC gods be in your favor. Late January seems to have availability, especially if you don’t mind switching resorts or staying on a week night.
We are really flexible from the second week of December to end of January. We would even go to Aulani if it had better availability.

It is truly staggering how much incompetence has been shown by both the title company and their affiliate from whom they purchase the title insurance. I would never consider doing business with them again and will whine openly to anybody who is considering using them.

I had a similar experience with them. Never again! At least the ordeal is nearly over!

I’ve been saying this and people here seem to love to defend TRCS. Not only was she excruciatingly slow but she was also snarky.

So sorry you had such a bad experience.

I just got my activation code email! Today is day 86, so I’ll update the total when I have my account and points. But wondering - how long did it take for you all to get your membership ID email after the activation code email? Trying to be patient but it’s been a long 86 days 😅😅
