Closing Time!

I bought 6 contracts at the same time and they all closed pretty much at the same time.

I just got my first e-mail from DVC an hour ago with an Activation Code, but no ID. I know this comes in another e-mail.

But there's no reference to which contract or resort or ID that Activation Code is linked to.

So I'm only going to find out which it is when they send me the ID and I login to the membership area?

Edit: Nevermind, I just got the ID and realized all memberships appear under the same account, I can already see my BCV and AKL contracts on there. I thought I'd receive an ID and activation code for EACH contract.
Nope, as long as all contracts are the same UY and titled the same, they're all in the same membership. Makes it much easier to manage your points that way! (That's why we caution people to think carefully before buying a contract that's in a different UY from their others.)

First time owner here, not sure if this is the best place to ask. I bought a resale contract with banked 2023 points. I got my activation code like 10 days ago and just now got my Club ID # after calling member services and requesting it. I just created my account and I see my points from 2024 onwards, but I'm not seeing the banked 2023 points. Could it be that Disney hasn't finalized loading my points or is there an issue here with the seller maybe having used them?

Sounds like it could be an issue. Usually all points are loaded at the same time. Which broker did you use? I would go back to them as a starting point and explain that there are no 2023 points.

Some brokers will provide a compensation payment for any missing points. You will need to check what the contract says.

I used Fidelity. The contract has a clause that states, "Should the Seller use any of the points listed in this contract prior to transfer
the Seller will pay the Buyer a rental fee of $25.00 per point that is used."

Hopefully that means I should be compensated for the missing points if they did indeed use them and it's not a Disney mistake. That would be a pretty nice rental price if so...

Screenshot your dashboard and post it so we can see what the point allocation looks like to be sure they are missing.

No chance they expired before the closing date right? If they were sold as "banked" then you should be entitled to some sort of payment. Check your contract paperwork and contact your broker ASAP.
They were definitely sold as banked and the broker just told me they expired Mar 1st. I definitely should be entitled to payment here, since the listing, the contract (signed in May), and all communications with Fidelity mentioned the points were being included. Holding out hope that the broker / seller compensates me for this somehow...
