I've always called via phone (no chat) 1-2 days after it showed up on the membership and asked to get the points loaded, and was always successful on 5+ resale contracts including the BWV one I posted about last week. In this last case, it actually allowed me to get one of the last BW view studios for Presidents' Day weekend next year and I would not have gotten that a day later.

Maybe try calling, but do it between 9am -5pm ET since I think they need to work with a separate department to get it done.

Welp, got the notice from our broker on Tuesday that our ROFR went through. An hour later got an email from the title company saying they were working on closing docs. Just got a call from the title company because they supposedly sent over the closing docs yesterday, but neither my husband nor I have anything...

With our recent contract, my husband got the closing docs in his email but I didn't get mine. They tried sending them twice and still nothing. So weird. They ended up having to send me a different link or something.

Having done a mix of direct and resale, I can say that I don't mind the timeline for ROFR and for closing. Those are steps that just take time. I get it. BUT I do not understand the timeline of the contract showing and points loaded. I feel like that should be a lightning quick process. Maybe I'm asking too much?

I love the ease of direct and will always keep that option open simply based on how quickly everything works as it should. The price of patience

UPDATE! What are the chances I asked my hubby to email the title company to touch base with them this afternoon at 4:30 and we got an email back at 5:30 stating our contract closed??? Nevertheless-now to wait on Disney!

Getting a bit nervous with how long it is taking to hear if the seller documents were returned. They were sent to us by title company last week on Wednesday. We had ours filled out and notarized and sent back Friday of that week, which the company received this past Monday.

We have points that need banked by April 30, and I’m getting worried we don’t even have a date for closing yet, let alone how long it will take Disney to load our points
