I'm glad you are moving along, but I will never use Magic Vacation Title. We sent to Rofr 5/25, passed same day as you and we just had our contract loaded today. I'll call tomorrow to get points loaded.

we are looking to re buy in once this sale finally goes through , and will NOT at all costs use that title company. There is no reason for them to take that long to formulate the closing docs.

Once the contract is loaded into the account I was able to call in the next day to get the points loaded (tried twice with M/S chat and they both said I have to wait 2-3 weeks..).

Just use the chat function the next day and keep trying once or twice a day after and eventually someone with the right authorization or the patience will follow up and check for you. If they respond with any generic response like it will take xx weeks then just close out go to the next person.

Thank you for providing further insight on this as I've been wondering what I've been doing wrong. I've read so many posts that make it seem so easy. I chatted earlier this morning and received a response of 6-8 weeks from closing. I'm on the chat screen again and they are digging into it.

This was our second resale purchase using Mason Title. For some reason, they have consistently interchanged mine and my husband's information on our closing documents which creates a bit of a slow down. It also took a bit longer to establish a closing date on this transaction.

I fully blame them for my Direct VGF purchase that I made while waiting for this transaction to finalize!

Does anyone know if addonitis is listed in the DSM-5?

I have seen folks offer after us that are closed, or with points already loaded. Of course if I didn't participate in this board I wouldn't know any different. At least I knew better than to pay without seller confirmation!

I didn't think a couple of weeks mattered that much, but in the end I am pretty disgusted. Live and learn. I will be helping some friends through the process shortly, and they will be able to avoid this wait.

On the plus side it gave me another paycheck to add to the account I am using to pay for this!

It's been 90+ days (sellers were slow as molasses....) and now just waiting for Disney's email for our membership and points!! It's going to be over 100 days by the time we get our points loaded...ughhh!!

Yes, it will show on dashboard. You will only need to toggle if the new contract is a different membership. If it is the same one, it will just be listed second.

My deed was recorded on 6/20. now seeing those with a 6/23 deed recording date already had the points loaded makes me wonder.. Is the process for a new member slower? First time buyer feeling very impatient hahah
