I thought I read over on Al Lutz's page that they were closing plaza inn while they added some sort of bakery to it. It supposedly closed Aug. 17th. Please tell me I read it wrong. I'm going Oct. 13th and want some chicken!

The building affected was the Plaza Pavillion, located on the other side of Main Street, U.S.A from the Plaza Inn. It formerly housed the Disneyland Park Annual Passholder Processing Centre, and has since closed down to be remodeled into the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café.

The Plaza Inn Restaurant remains open and is operating as normal.

I know it is a little confussing with the two locations having such similar names. But the Plaza Inn is not going anywhere. It is the long closed food location the Plaza Pavillion, last used as a AP processing location, that is going to open as a bakery. And the Blue Ribbon Bakery location will be turned (back) into an indoor seating space for the carnation Cafe.

Thank you thank you. I knew if the restaurant had closed there would have been a lot of talk about it on here.

Does anyone know if special food items from Carnation will be served elsewhere during the time it'll be closed? ie the Baked Potato Soup...
