Closing on resale 4/9...how long until MS recognizes me?

Just wanted to get an idea as to when I can finally make my reservations. After starting this process on 2/12, I can't believe it's finally here. I paid for priority service with the Timeshare Closing Service. Does that mean they'll get my deed over to MS quicker?

hi: i'm not sure exactly since i've dealt directly with dvc both times, but i seem to remember some posts stating it was about a week. you can call and check with ms.

We closed on a resale on Thursday, Feb. 22. When I called MS on Monday, Feb. 26, we were in the computer and I was able to make our first reservation using points. I needed to provide my social security number for the CM to find us.
Timeshare Closing Services handled the closing.

As an additional note on timing, we received our temporary membership cards during the week of March 19 (DW and I were in London for the week and they were in the stack of mail when we got home, so I do not know what day they actually arrived), and then received our member handbook and permanent membership cards last Tuesday. Finally, the actual recorded deed arrived yesterday.
