Closing of WDW VMK Central

I am going in December thinking that I would be able to get to do the Quests but now I found out I can't. Is it true that the in-park quests are leaving with VMK Central or can we go into City Hall and get the Quests. I am confused please help.

B. No one knows for sure what exactly is coming in the Disney Parks' future. Yavn did say that, though removing the Quest Kiosk, this didn't mean that VMK was leaving the parks.

What that exactly means, only time can tell.

As for now, it is still a bit early before we can truthfully predict what is to come in December.

Unfortunately, by the time you go in December VMK Central will be gone as well as questing as we've known it.

There is always the possibility there will be some type of VMK reward available, similar to the Nemo Sub middle at DLR, but there is no way to know at this point.

It was covered both in the Yavn Speaks column of the newsletter AND on
the thread linked in the previous posts. September 30th is the last day
for VMK Central. You'll be fine.

I am bummed because I will be there 2 weeks after it closes. I was looking forward to creating another character in the park and doing a quest. Booooo.

Were these sites at both WDW and DL just totally under-utilized? For those who went, were they crowded ever? Just curious!

I don't ever really remember it being crowded but I was only there twice since it was open.

In August of last year there was a fair amount of people in there.

But something that I did find ironic: I designated my "day" trip to DLR, and that'll be the 30th of September.
