Closing of our Disney Store............

I guess another one bites the dust, we were at our favorite store, Disney Store, and the CM's were crying, their store will be closing but June. She gave us a call number 1 866-902-2798 to voice our sorrow. We used to have 2 in our area but one closed a few years ago and we go to this store every weekend. Now what do we do, that was our Disney fix, super buys all gone. There would be tons of people shopping every time we went and its all gone here soon. We became good friends with the manager and used to chat away about trips, last visit a CM had a beautiful Disney ring on and I inquired where she got it, QVC, naturally I had to get my wife one and checked out the QVC site and they still had them, that trip cost me 90 bucks for the rings but made my wifes eyes light up like a christmas tree.

I feel your pain. We found out in the fall that we were getting a Disney Store outlet in April. I have been looking forward to it for all these months with sheer excitement . April came and it never openend. And apparently it never will.

This really isn't a Welcome Board topic so I am going to move it. I know there are many others grieving with you.

Where exactly are you in Ohio? The one at Polaris Mall is still there...well I hope it is, have not been there in a week!

We are in the Youngstown area, actually the store in the Boardman Mall. I've read of others closing but didn't think they would close this one, they did one heck of a business.

How do you find out if your local store is closing? I have a small Disney store up the road and a big one nearby in King of Prussia, PA. I would be really sad if they both closed!

Kelly, the KoP location is remaining open.

The one in Exton, near where I live, is closing. I take the bus from there once a week to go to KoP.

Well the Disney Store, south of Pittsburgh will still be open.

I know it will take you about 1 1/2 hours to get here from Youngstown, but if you ever get desperate enough, PM me for directions.

Yay, thanks John! i'm glad, I like the KoP store better than the one in Willow Grove, even though WG is much much closer to me. I didn't even know there was a Disney store in Exton!
