Closing April 11, can I make a ressie now?

We are looking at going back to WDW in January. We have sent all of our paperwork in, but our closing is set for April 11. Can I go ahead and make our January reservation now at our home resort by calling? The waiting is KILLING me!!

It seems the wait is harder after ROFR.
Even after you close you will need to wait another 7-10 days before your points are in the system and available to use.

Yes, if you bought directly from Disney.

No, if you bought via reale. If that is the case, you'll have to wait until after the points are in the system, usually a week or so after closing.

We did buy direct!! Calling this afternoon! YAY!!!

Yes. We bought on our March cruise, and I was able to handle what we needed that next week!
