Has anybody ever used closesttodisney.com to rent a condo/house?

Does anyone have any other recommendations?

I haven't used them personally but know people who have. Their prices are good from what I can see. The one drawback, and its a big one in my opinion, is that you don't get to see the actual house you'll be renting. I would much rather rent direct from an owner or at least through a management company that books guests into specific homes, not whatever is available when you arrive. That way you know exactly what to expect.

Does anyone know anything about closesttodisney changing names?? They were run by Elite Management????? Now they are Palm Tree Vacation something.....


I rented thru closesttodisney.com in March. Everything worked out and all. We went to check in on 192 at Elite Management (i think). When I called today to make my reservation they said they changed names and it's now Palm Tree Vacation and their office in the same shopping center as the old office.

Anyone know anything about this??? Bad sign? How can I make sure they are legit now? Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Stayed with/thru closesttodisney.com in Jan. '03. Reserved a 2br townhome (watching the $$$) but since none were available when we checked in, we got a 3 br pool home for the price of the 2br TH!!! Not such a bad deal!
