closest walk from EPCOT?

Which resort is the closer walk from EPCOT - Beach Club or Boardwalk, and about how long of a walk would it be? Also, how does the walk to each compare with the respective boat rides?

beach club. time depends on where in the resort you are located. Closest point is probably about a 5 minute walk, boardwalk closest point is probably like 10 minutes. Both are very close. Beach club, from boardwalk is on the way (about halfway) so say 5 minutes between hotels.

Either is a great choice if your trying to make the decision. All of the epcot hotels are just so convenient!

Beach Club is closer....probably a 5 minute walk to the turnstiles. Walking is much faster than taking the boat to BC as it first goes to BW.

With regards to the boat ride, walking is faster. The boat actually docks at the YC. so you would have about a 3 minute walk to the BC anyway along with the 5 minute boat ride.

It is the same boat from both resorts. The boat stops at the BC/YC, the Swan and Dolphin, the Boardwalk, Epcot and MGM.

While the corner of the closest wing of the Beach Club Resort is closer to Epcot than the corner of the closest wing of the BoardWalk Inn, there are some rooms in the Beach Club Resort that are further from Epcot than some rooms in the BoardWalk Inn -- the point being that there is very little difference between the resorts in terms of how far they are from Epcot, that if proximity to Epcot is a major consideration, you won't be disappointed with either choice.
