We plan to valet park at the BC or BW in Dec and go to the Tree lighting ceremony and then eat at one of the Boardwalk restaurants. Which one of these resorts is be closer to International Gateway Entrance?

My father will be driving an ECV. I remember you enter the BW resort on the second floor, and I think the elevator is to the left, than a walkway out to Boardwalk then a right turn towards the gateway. I can't remember the distance and I don't remember the front entrance of the BC resort very well.

Any opinions?

BC is closer by a couple minutes.

The Beach Club is closer and you will not have to use an elevator. Just go in the main door and out the back. Turn left and Epcot is about five minutes away. One tip....the bridge has a slight incline so if you take the walkway close to the water on the right side of the bridge it's a lot easier....with or without an ECV. We prefer the lower walk to the bridge. They end up in the same place anyway.

The BC is slightly closer. However, if your ultimate destination is to have dinner at the Boardwalk why wouldn't you just park there? Otherwise it's a tad closer to get to Epcot but then you have to walk back from The Boardwalk to the Beach Club when you're done with dinner.

Keep in mind that the Y&B Clubs will give you a 3 hour parking pass when you're having dinner at their resorts and that may not give you enough time to enjoy the tree lighting and the park and dinner. The BW gets people who park for longer because they're enjoying the bars there at night.

Thanks for your replies. The BC became an option when my brother expressed visiting it and seeing SAB. He has never been to the BW resorts before. So thought, Tree lighting, dinner, a little tour on the SAB side and then back to car through BC.

But the point about the 3 hour parking is well taken. I thought I read that if you valet park they are not strict on the time limit.

I believe that the 3 hour time limit is only for non-valet parking. If you valet park you can leave the car as long as you want. There is a daily fee for valet parking.

You are staying on the property aren't you? Without that parking pass, they may not let you valet park without a ADR for Cape May. They have signs that say they cannot provide parking for Theme park guests.
