Closest Timeshares to Universal?????

Does anyone know what the closest Timeshares are to Universal?? Visitana??? any help would be appreciated!!!!

The closest one I know of is Westgate Lakes (a 5 star resort) that is on Sand Lake road just off I-4 a couple of exits from Universal. their exchange company is Interval International.

beware, they are just horrible into forcing their guests into sales pitch meetings. a.k.a. "free breakfast" and if you refuse, they can be downright threatening. never mind if you own a timeshare already, they want you to buy ANOTHER one.


btw, I own at Westgate Villas.

Vistana Villages is somewhere on I-drive, not sure how close. Vistana resort is near Disney. We are staying at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club next month, which is at Sea World so that's not too far. They do RCI exchanges. It is our first time there so I can't tell you anything about it. I have heard the Vistana Villages is very nice.

Also near the Hilton is the Marriott Horizons.

While Vistana is not the closest resort, it is very nice and it is easy access. You just hop on the interstate and you're at Universal in minutes unless you hit bad traffic.

I would say Vistana Villages and Marriott Grande Vista and the Seaworld Hilton GV are a few of the closest, and they're a straight shot up International Drive, but they aren't right next door. Then Embassy Suites and Vistana Resort are so close to I-4, that would be an easy drive, too. None will take you more than about 10 or 15 minutes to drive the distance.

Probably Wyndham Palms and the Westgate that's next door to WP are another10 minutes away.

Cypress Pointe & Cypress Pointe Grande Villas are failry close too, just take Turkey Lake Rd to the Universal Entrance

Orlando Sunshine I & II are literally down the road from Universal. You don't even have to drive I-drive to get there!
