What are the closest hotels to Universal studios? TIA

The SheratonStudia is only about fiveminutes away by car, they also have a shuttle. Great beds, really comfortable. Small pool, but ok. We have stayed there the past two years for three days each time. Close to good shopping and restaurants.

Homewood Suites Universal on Hospitality Way is just across I4, when we stayed, I could see the Hulk from my hotel room. Also stayed at Fairfied Inn & Suites which is across the street (sort of) from one of the parking garages on Kirkman, next to the Fairfield Inn is a "twin tower" hotels, used to be the Raddisson or Ramada I think but someone else has bought it out, can anyone remember the name?

Holiday Inn Universal is another close one.

They also take the entertainment card, so you may get a good rate.
