Closest liquor store to the Port?

We will be driving from Canada and the amount of alcohol we are allowed to bring duty free over the border is limited.

We would like to pick up a couple of bottles of wine when we get to Cocoa Beach the night before our cruise.

What would be the closest liquor store to say the Radisson Hotel, which is where we are considering staying. If anyone has an idea of the hours, that would also be great. We may arrive early evening Saturday. Will the stores still be open and if not, are they open on Sunday and at what time.

Grocery stores in Florida are allowed to sell beer and wine, so as long as your tastes in wine are not <b><i>too</i></b> eclectic, you'll probably be fine with the selection at Publix. There is a Publix at your first exit east of I-95 on SR-528. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right and the Publix is right in front of you. If you'd prefer a liquor store, ABC Fine Wines & Spirits is a free-standing liquor store in Cape Canaveral. It's on the left side of the road less than two miles beyond the Radisson.

You'll want to make your purchases on Saturday. Alcohol is not sold in Florida until noon on Sundays.

Any idea of what time ABC Wine & Spirits would close at on a Saturday? I'm thinking (hoping) the Publix would be open until about 9-10 Any idea?

ABC doesn't have their hours listed on their web site, but you could give them a call. (321) 799-0049.

According to Publix' web site, they're open until 10.

The Walgreens across from Ron Jon's is open 24 hours. Do they still have a piquor store? It has been several years since I was down that way.

That Walgreens is still open 24 hours. I don't know whether that location has a liquor store. If it does, I'm sure the liquor store isn't also open 24 hours.
