We will be staying at HoJo and won't have a car. Would like a store with good wine selection if possible. Thanks!

There's a liquor store on the corner of the Target Property, across the street from the Marriott Suites.

There is a little convenience store attatched to the tropicanna. It is about 2 min walk from the hojo. I was surprised at the variety of wine that they had. If you're not too picky I'm sure you can find something there.

Pretty much EVERYWHERE sells liquor, but a good concentration of places is the intersection at Harbor and Katella. If you go outside the disneyland gates and head the opposite direction of HOJO for about a block, there's ABC market which had lots, CVS, a liquor store beside the Subway in the strip mall across the street (but I heard that one is a little pricier for the same stuff) and 7-11 all sell liquor.

If you're going to Target or for dinner down that way there's a liquor store in the Target parking lot.

I think we will be using Lanskys car service to get to GCV from LAX, and they offer a free grocery stop. Usually its at Target from what I have heard. Does Target have at least beer and wine available we can grab, or no?
Thanks !

Yes far back left side when you walk in. There is also a liquor store in the same complex, so depending on your party size you could send someone into target for groceries and someone else to the liquor store.

Thanks for the info !
That will help quite a bit . All we would want is some wine and beer, so hopefully Target will cover it !
We have learned that buying drinks at Disney is quite expensive ! All we really need is to be able to have a few drinks on our balcony or by the pool while we relax once in a while. Helps a lot if we buy it BEFORE we get to Disney property, lol ! Thats just more $$$ for other Disney things !!!

1) The small store/gift shop inside HOJO has a small selection of beer & wine.

2) I agree: Vons.com is a good bet (maybe cheapest delivery option) if you can plan ahead. You should get a delivery window ASAP before they fill up... and you must be present (over 21) to sign for it.

3) Wonderland Liquor is a small store on opposite corner of the park (don't walk it). Call during the day and setup your order. When the delivery guy arrives (mid-afternoon/4:00-ish) you will be the first delivery. Or setup another time-- He will be there FAST (within 10-15 minutes --my experience). It's free delivery, but it's definitely marked up for it (not too bad). But this is good short-notice/convenient option. Time at DLR is valuable.
*Their wine selection may be on the cheap side if that's your thing. It's a convenience store... Might call ahead to check it out.

What? Doesn't eveyone have three backup plans for this subject??

I can't give you any better answers than anyone else (we bought our beer at Target), but I just want to say every time I see the title of this thread I smile and think we're kindred spirits :)

are there any liquor stores within walking distance from Paradise Pier? I'd rather see what they have rather than calling and ordering
