Closest Hotel with Suites to Disneyland?

Hi! I'm planning a trip to Disneyland for next summer and we would like to stay offsite, as close to the park entrance as possible (walking distance), in a hotel that offers suites so our kids can stay in another room from us. Traveling with 2 adults/2kids - separate room for kids is a must, separate beds for them is a bonus. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Park Vue! It's *at* the sidewalk for the pedestrian entrance. Literally no motel is closer. We do the 3Q suite. It has 2 Q in the bedroom, and a fold-out sofa in the living room. DD says the sofa is pretty comfortable. Only 1 bathroom can be a bummer, however, there's multiple vanities and sinks (in the bathroom, outside the bathroom). It also has a small kitchenette, microwave, and fridge. There's pictures I've posted somewhere here on the Dis, but I'm on my phone, and have no idea how to link. If you search PVI pictures and my username lalasmama you should be able to find pictures of the suite.

Edited to add: Best Western next door only has a half wall to separate areas in their mini-suites. On the other side is Dessert Inn and Suites... But I've had issues with them, so while others like them, I refuse to recommend them. HoJo is a little walk, but has larger suites; it's still in walking distance.

Also a fan of Park Vue Inn. We stayed there in May but stayed in a regular room. Was very clean and recently updated. Water and Coffee in the lobby 24/7 and freshly baked cookies in the lobby at night. The big thing that sealed the deal for me was location and also a hot breakfast every morning. There is also a store on the first floor behind the lobby that has just about anything you would need. We bought California t-shirts for $5 and they are a good qaulity.

If you're willing to spend a bit, the Marriott Theme Park Entrance also has suites. The room I stayed in (1 Bedroom Suite, Corner) had a master bedroom, second bed room with two bunk beds (so four total beds in that room) and a front/living room area. It was very spacious (for a hotel room), but on the pricey side. It was a pretty quick walk to the park.

I've got my eye on this one...we like Marriotts. I don't think it is a good neighbor hotel though...does that matter for early entry to the park (if I buy a 3 day park hopper does that give the same benefit?).

I think good neighbor hotel has no effect on early entry. They just paid a fee to Disney to be listed. You need to be in an on site Disney hotel to get early entry. Also I think that you need to purchase a 4 day pass to get 1 early entry day.

Magic Morning entry is dictated by the type of ticket you buy, not the hotel you stay at. Whether you stay at a Good Neighbor hotel or not has no effect.

Note: Magic Morning is different than Extra Magic Hour which IS dictated by whether or not you are staying at a Disney property or not. Still no Good Neighbor hotel impact.

Just three days will do

I will be staying at the Quality Inn & Suites this weekend...which is located behind the Fairfield Inn hotel, so it still makes it "across the street from Disneyland"...I will be staying in a queen size room, but from their website I do see suites like you are asking for...one room for the adults, another room with bunk beds for the kids...plus a sofa bed I believe...very affordable prices...you should look them up...you can also use the GET AWAY TODAY travel site to look up various resorts close to Disneyland...

WE will be staying at Camelot inn next month, and we have a family suite 1 king bed with a pull out sofa bed and in another room 2 queen beds I believe

Thank you all! I wound up booking the courtyard Marriott Theme Park hotel.

My rationale:
- Very close to the park,
- Similar rates to onsite hotels,
- Marriott brand we are familiar with and like,
- Each kid can have their own bunkbed with a door and wall separating us from them.

Also, Marriott website had lots of pictures and a diagram of each of the rooms. I tried to look up Park Vue, but I couldn't get any pictures or any rates (it seemed to either be booked, or don't take reservations online).

I also went back and listened to the review of the Courtyard Marriott Theme Park on DisUnplugged and that really sealed the deal.

We will be buying either 3 or 4 day park hoppers so good to know we can get early entry with that. My trip is not until August of next year - let the countdown begin!

You know this is one early entry to Disneyland?

Buy your 3 day hopper ahead of time. I believe you don't get MM if you purchase at booth (someone correct me if I'm wrong)
