I was just wondering what the closet grocery to the HOJO is? We tried ordering online through Albertson's but they won't accept international credit cards (we're Canadian). So, the cheaper the cab fare the better Thanks!
Albertsons is also discontinuing their delivery services this month, so that might be another issue.
Vons and Albertsons are close-by. Target is on one of the bus lines (a dis'er and her family took the bus there to replace a camera some months back!) and they have basic food there.
I would probably google the anaheim cab companies and see if you can get an idea of what they might charge for a trip like that.
Maybe you could start a cab sharing thread. I have noticed that on any day there usually are a couple of disboard families staying in the area. ART and local buses are another option.
What kind of groceries are you looking for? If it's basic staples Target would be a better choice. I would just ask the hotel about taking ART down there, or they will call you a cab when you're ready.

Whereabouts in Canada? I live close to the US, so I just popped down and got a Visa gift card and used that to order from Vons and it worked just great. I put in the address for the hotel as my address. Worked out perfectly as my groceries had arrived before I did and they were all put away in the fridge by the time I checked in
Vons also has a code for free delivery for your first order!
Go up Harbor to Ball Rd and turn right, about 300 yards down Ball on your right is a Supermarket. All up its probably about half a mile from Hojos so you can walk it no problem....
Nearest Target is down Harbor on the corner of Chapman and Harbor, about 1.5 mile from Hojos so better to take the bus down and back....
