Closer parking extra cost?

What is the current and future status of paying xtra to park close to the parks? Is it still in the testing stage or is it permanent. Wondering the status of it for our August trip. Thanks!

The only park we drove to last week was Epcot, and there was still a sign at the parking booths advertising premium parking, and we walked past the mostly empty premium parking section on our way to the park. So, it's still at Epcot as of last week.

It seems permanent and I believe it is at all parks now. Currently is 35 to park in premium.

Unless things have changed recently (it's not like Disney to make changes, right? ;-) ), premium parking for resort guests is $15.

Not sure with resort guests. AP holders only pay 15 since regular parking is free. I wonder if it would be the same for resort guests.

It is $15 for resort guests as well.

Technically, premium parking is a $15 upcharge, so it's $15 on top of whatever you regularly pay for parking, whether that is $20 or $0
