closed water parks during rain?

I think most employees say 'we' when referring to their work location. When I worked in Tomorrowland I would have said 'we closed Astro Orbiter due to bad weather' or 'we had to shut down Space Mountain because of technical difficulties'.

If Cheshire Figment was working on that day, then yes, they were part of the "we" closing the park. Even if it was only putting a sign in the ticket window saying "Closed" or standing outside telling guests how to get refunds, they participated in the closing process. And in that case, we can be used. If they had said "We decided to close the park", then you may be able to call out their English usage unless they were a member of the group that looked at the lightning meter and weather forecast and said "Parks closed"

I imagine that in Disney's case, you and I pay for it. A small fraction of our gate fees, hotel fees, and other assorted spending pays for their insurance. And that insurance is what pays for any lawsuits. Yes, the CM's may get smaller perks, be it bonuses, holiday parties, or other things in the case where insurance doesn't cover it. Or CM positions may be left unfilled, attraction refurbs downsized, soda costs increased, something like that. So by your logic, since my soda cost an extra 10 cents last trip, I am now part of Disney? Cause I am paying for someone's bad decision, be it lawsuit or othewise.

I think you're taking this all a bit too literally. Cheshire Figment using "we" as opposed to "Disney" would imply to most readers that he works there and, therefore, has better knowledge of the closing policies of the water park than someone from the outside who would say "Disney does or doesn't do this".

He never said he did. He is part of that team that runs the waterparks. Therefore he is a part of what goes on there during the day. He said 'we close' not 'I closed the park if it rains'.
Goodness of all the things for you to be upset about. It's called being part of a team.

The 'monies' probably would come out of my pocket since I work for Disney and they pay my salary. They are my pocket.

I know that in my case, at my place of business (another multi-billion $$ corporation, though not nearly as fun) when "WE" have an accident in "MY" place of business, it comes out of MY business profitability and affects MY profit sharing, and thus MY retirement.
So yes, it does eventually come out of the employee pocket.

As for the "WE" that you are making fun of; whenever you have a job and work for someone you become part of the "we" for that company be it a school, a business, or a church etc. .

sometimes a water park will close for rain. it all depends on how many people are there and if it'll rain all day, ect.....
today, disney closed typhoon at noon because attendance was low and it rained all day. but the good thing is that disney will always keep one park open if it's raining. so today, even though typhoon closed at noon, blizzard stayed open all day even though it poured and there were not very many people there and there was no lightening on the radar what so ever.

Actually he just might. If he works at the waterpark and is the person who is assigned the position to watch the weather, he has the say as to when the park shut downs the slides and pools. He also would be the person who talks to management of the park and advises them as to how the weather is shaping up and is vital person on the final decision to close the park for the day. It is not usually a member of management that sits up at the weather station on the mountain at BB and does the advising that closes the park. So the "we" at waterparks does include cms and not just the corporation Disney.

We went to TL when it was raining (no thunderstorms) attendance was very low but we had a great time. When you are wet what difference does rain make. Also the very short wait for slides was excellent.

Go during rain would be my advice!!!!!
