Many times I've seen them filled at the food court at Dixie Landing and taken into the River Roost Lounge to see the Bob Jackson show.
It hasn't been callled Dixie Landings in years. It's Port Orleans Riverside.
I tried reading and searching for this with no luck. I have rapid refill mugs from Feb. We always buy them but we now have a collection. If I bring my mugs back can they just re activate the RFID chip if I purchase length of stay again? Just trying to avoid another set taking up space in my cabinets! Lol

We have 4 nights AKL, 4 nights DCL and then 3 nights AKL. If we buy length of stay will we be able to use them for both our first and second stay at AKL?
Also, do you buy the cup and then add the length of stay or is it a combined price?

That is not allowed. They were breaking the rules and the CM's just didn't care. So, I read the rules on page one, but clearly some things have changed as the mugs are refillable at any resort with the QuickFill system. I keep seeing many many families in the parks carrying around their mugs. I never understood it until I was at a quick service location in Epcot where they had self-service soda machines and I saw entire groups of people filling up their resort mugs. When I went outside almost every table of diners had their resort mugs filled with their lunchtime drink. Is this allowed? If it was just one or two people, I would think that maybe those people were just breaking the rules, but with so many people doing it, I was wondering if maybe the rules had changed or if Disney is just completely ignoring the policy. Anyone know?
No, it's breaking the rules. Maybe that's why there are very few CS places at the parks with self-serve beverage machines. When people are at their resorts, the food court is sometimes the last place they visit before getting on the park bus, so they have their mugs with them at the parks. Perhaps all the people you saw had filled up at the park CS, but maybe they had purchased their park CS drink and used their mugs instead of their cups for the free refill to-go (refills are allowed at self-serve), or maybe some had water in their mugs. There's no way to tell. I'd like to think there aren't a large number of drink thieves out there, so I don't assume the worst. So, I read the rules on page one, but clearly some things have changed as the mugs are refillable at any resort with the QuickFill system. Okay, we're doing a split-stay, will the cup know we're staying 6 days instead of just the first 3 days?
When you ask for the "length of stay" price option, they automatically set it for 14 days.
