Thank you. I haven't been to Disney since I was little and so much has changed. I'm really glad I found this site, it has so much great info. I got lost on here for about 2 hours today!

The current design has three lid/handle colors - black, pink, or blue.

We just had one blue, and pink. We made the other blue and black one black lid with blue handle and black handle with blue lid to tell which one apart. I get pink since I pay

This may be a dumb question, but are we able to get refills at like all hours of the day/night?

Say we come back to AoA at 10 at night next week and want to get drinks? Will we be able to?

The food courts are generally open until midnight, so yes, you should be able to get refills at 10pm.

That's a great idea can't believe we didn't think to do this last year when 2 of us had to have the same colour mug.

I have to agree this is a great idea, and one I've never thought of! Thank you

That is a great idea! We have used the rings you get for wine glasses in the past but gees the lid on a different color cup is so much easier!
I hope they get new mugs by October of 2013 when we are going. I love the mugs! It makes a great souvenir! My favorites are still the resort specific ones! I wish they would bring them back. Can you imagine how cool the Art of Animation ones would be if they did that!

I still want the shorter round ones they use when the Mugs where resort specific, the last year they had then we got them from port Orleans. On a side note, when we where In DL for MNSSHP they where selling the mugs(style) in the park when you get a drink, i told my DS hay there the same ones as WDW, even a little WDW makes it out west LOL.

I love these mugs too.

As it has been mentioned, I loved using them at work so I have a little bit of Disney Magic to get me through the day.

Some may think they are a little expensive, but when you concider they also double as a souvonier, it is not a bad price.

One thing we did is we had different color Sharpies (for the autograph books I like using different colors that go with the caracters, like Orange for tiger
We write our names (or evern a mark like smiley, heart or mickey cirlces) on the lid and cup, because even though most resorts have a wash station, I like to rinse them again in the room (You can even use dawn) and then dry them on the towel. That way you know which mug, and lid, goes together.

Hope all that are going have a blast!!
We are not going again until 2014. Our last trip was 2011.

I know there are a wide range of colors avaible throughout disney but we were there in April so I already have the current mug in black,pink x2 and blue. I would love to have a green one or a purple one since it doesn't look like they will have new mug before I get there

It's been pink, black and blue for quite some time.

OH ME TOO...

these florescent colors are for the birds...well actually for the grandkids...the little ones love them...we fill them up with ice and water or juice and go sit by the pool...well we did last summer...we can do it again...but would like different colors to do it with..

We had a couple yellows, too from when the change first happened. But my husband took them to work and ruined them.

I always fill my mug up when we leave our resort for the day, so this requires carrying it around all day (which I'm fine with) but I've been seeing where you can get tap water for free in the parks so instead of using my snack credit for bottled water can I give the CM my resort mug to fill with tap water instead of the paper cups

Will the do this or is it considered "unsanitary" ?
