2 nights - Thursday 12/8 and Friday 12/9

Are there any accommodations for 2 adults still available for 3 nights checking-in 12/11/2011 & checking-out 12/14/2011? Prefer anything around the Boardwalk, standard view (but will take any view), and studio (but will take any room type that will have two beds or one bed and a couch).

Would like a studio and if BCV unavailable, would be interested in any resort nearby for ease of transportation to the conference. Alos interested in DP and Magical Express. They only have something at Saratoga Springs for those dates. Assuming you meant checkout on the 12-2-11.

We wanted to rent the one point from DVC and found out you can only do that at the 7 month mark. The lady I spoke to on the phone said that a point can be transferred if you can find a person willing to transfer one point. You seem like an experienced DVC renter/transferer so I was wondering if you can tell me how this works and how much does this cost? Thanks for your help. Also do you still have AKL points available for Aug 2012?

Hi,

Yes, it is a very simple process and I have done it several times. Only takes a phone call to member services but you only get one transfer per use year in or out so most members are not going to want to lose that transferring only 1 point. The transferred points can be used like your own (banked and borrowed) except they retain the use year and home resort priority from the member making the transfer to you. I have 26 AKV points available for transfer but you would need to take all of them. If you want to do that let me know by email as I don't always get notifications about the board posts on here for some reason.
