I checked the cash rates - I can't beat them, Disney is selling the standard rooms for under what would be 7.75 a point.

Thank you so mcuh for getting back so quickly! I was looking for the first part of the week (12/5 - 12/8) for the 76 point range, and then HOPING for a MK view at Bay Lake for the remainder (12/9 - 12/11). That was where I had gotten those totals from. So sorry I did not make that clear in my previous post! DH and I are new to this, and have been thinking about actually becoming DVC members. I was afraid of this - but due to fire codes and the number of people - Disney won't book your party into a single room ( hotel ) it has to be two rooms.

Doing more research, I found that this is not the case - I found that there are rooms that are rated for what Disney refers to as a party of "5+" meaning 5 people plus infants.

If the reservation agent is not familiar with these rooms, one can get a denial of availability, when in fact the accommodations are available.

The only availability for your dates is either the cabins at Fort Wilderness or Caribbean Beach Resort - the Polynesian is available on a cash basis though Disney directly.

If either one works - let me know.

Any points left? I am a bit confused on the term "reservation" points. We have rented points 3 times before form Disboard members but always stayed at a DVC resort.
Well anyway, I am looking at 8/8-15 2010. Is it the same as DVC, where it is less points Sun-Thur?
If you have points left, could you check yacht club?
