CLOSED: Points for Rent: 542 Reservation Points Available - Use by 8/31/2010

Hi,

We are planning a trip to Disney World from 9/27/09-10/6/09 and hoping to stay at the Polynesian. There are two adults and a nine-year-old. We are also interested in the free dinning plan. Is that plan doable and is there availability? Thank you for your assistance!

The "Free" dining plan is only offered when booking a cash reservation through Disney themselves.

When booking on points a dining plan is available, but it must be paid for with cash as well. The details on it are listed in one of the previous posts on this thread.

Cash rate for that period is $3800 for just the room.

The package with tickets & dining is @ $4600.

As far as points go - it would be 424 points - if you're interested - we can discuss a price per point that makes sense for you.

The points totals are:

Polynesian

Garden View - 276
Lagoon View - 360
King Kamehameha Club - 465

Port Orleans

Standard View - 127
Pool/Water View - 132

For Port Orleans, there is only one rate, there isn't a difference between Riverside & French Quarter from what I can see - we will have to verify your choice at the time of reservation

The $ per point is negotiable - if your interested, let me know and we'll try to work it out.

We are coming up to our 11 month window tomorrow and are short on points so as an alternative can you tell me how many points i would need for 2 studios at Grand Floridian or Poly for 1st July 10 through to 4th July 3 nights

As far as I can tell - the only thing I can book at either of these resorts is a normal hotel room - there are the 3 levels at both - Garden View, Lagoon View and the Club levels. I see nothing in the points charts indicating that there is availability on studios to DVC members at the Grand of the Poly???

I'll see if I can dig up more info - stay tuned.
