CLOSED: Points for Rent: 50 Aulani pts available, $14/pt - Updated with Points Chart

Are you an Aulani owner needing more points for your first stay? Are you already going to Oahu and want to check out Aulani while you are there? I have 50 Aulani points available. As of this writing (Jan 22), I can book travel with a check-in date from the Grand Opening date of August 29 until December 22. I have checked with Member Services and was told that Aulani points cannot be transferred to another member prior to August 29 (even to another Aulani owner), so I can only offer the points for rent.

UPDATE: It looks like the Disney link for the Aulani points chart is not working, so I uploaded the .pdf file to my personal webpage for viewing:

50 points or less can get two nights in a studio for all seasons, one night in a one-bedroom for most seasons, or one night in a two-bedroom for some seasons. Additionally, I can purchase up to 24 additional points directly from Disney to complete your reservation if you desire more nights (I have not used this privilege yet for this account). For additional points, I would require payment of the Disney-direct charge of $15/point.

BTW, if you would like to commemorate your first visit to Aulani, I do have a collectible set of the DVC menehune and DVC Aulani pin that I will send to whoever rents these points. Our Guide sent us a set as a surprise after I had already found some elsewhere. =)

Just a short update for those who emailed: Thanks for your interest. The points are now taken.

For those who emailed asking about whether $14/pt would save them money... I verified the savings via the Aulani booking site that is open to the general public. For the dates I just booked for our renter, the total for an Island View room for two guests (not a villa) directly booked through Disney was $1450. The cost to rent these points for the same travel dates in a DVC Island View Deluxe Studio Villla was $805. Soooo, yep, it was much less expensive for our renter to secure Aulani DVC points than it was to book directly through Disney. HTH! Evey =)
