CLOSED: Points for Rent: 400 Bay Lake Tower Points

I have 400 points ready for booking at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort for arrival on or before March 16, 2011. Because of home resort rules, if you want to book Bay Lake Tower anytime during the holidays or beyond, only BLT owners (myself included) can make reservations there from 11/17/10 to 3/17/11 at this time.

I can also book all other DVC Resorts (subject to availability) with an arrival date on or before November 17th, 2010.

Upon booking I will provide you with a confirmation number along with this Disney website link for you to view your reservation (and provide online check-in). I will also send you the written confirmation letter once I receive it from Disney.

I am an experienced renter and rentee through this board and know the value of prompt replies and booking. I can provide references and/or do a 3 way call to Member Services to put your mind at ease, if so desired. If you're new to renting points I would be happy to walk you through the process and/or answer any questions or concerns you may have.

The cost is $12 per point. I accept personal check through mail or any form of PayPal payment (with added PayPal transaction fee).

I am also happy to add Disney Dining Plan and Magical Express (Disney's free airport transportation) now or at a later date if you so decide.

Hello I am new to this and never been to Disney. I am looking at going with my 2 year old daughter, my 16 year old sister and my 28 year old cousin. It would be a first for all of us. I am looking at going December 11th to 17th. Is dvc eligible for the free meal plan if it comes available?
and for those dates how many points would be needed.

Hi nataliej_vk,

I'd be happy to walk you through the process. MS is closed already for the day, but I would be happy to try them in the morning to see if your request is available. I'm guessing you would want a Studio, but I can book another size if you desired. Magic Kingdom and Standard View are probably booked, so I added the points for a Studio Bay Lake View (which is an incredible view!). The total cost would be $1,176 (98 points) if available. However, the other views might be available as well and I can check for you is so desired.

If the chart is a little confusing, here is a handy points calculater that makes it a little easier for adding up the number of points.

Let me know if that's your desired room size and view and I'll attempt to make the reservation in the morning. If you would like something else, l can do that too!

Oh I forgot to mention, no, DVC is not eligible for the free meal plan, but I can almost guarentee that the price you pay through renting points and adding on the meal plan will still be a good bit cheaper then getting the "free" meal plan by paying full rack rate through Disney. I have never once seen Disney beat the rental prices even through their very best discounts.

BLT is booked solid on the 11th and 12th of December in all categories. However, if you were able to shift your dates by a couple of days back, I can make the reservation. That first week and a half is pretty full because of the cheaper point rate. If you would like me to check other dates, please feel free to let me know! Thanks again!

Hi Dusten, I'm not sure what dates you're looking at but CRO (when I can even find an MK view 2 bedroom during the same "magic season" dates as March on a Thurs-Sat) is showing me closer to $2,200. The Lake View through CRO is more in line with your price quoted at $1699.

If you would like a Lake View, I'd be more then happy to book it for you at $12 pp, which is almost identical to your offered price. However, I do require payment in full after providing you with the written confirmation letter. The MK View would be $1656 at $12 pp. Let me know if you're still interested and I would be happy to book it. Thanks!

Hi, the only DVC resort with availability during those dates is Saratoga Springs, which I would be happy to book for you if you wish. The only resort where the studios have 2 queen beds is at Old Key West and it's already unfortunately booked as well. However, while still not quite as good as a real bed, the couch beds at Disney are MUCH different then a typical couch bed and are pretty comfortable.
