I'd be interested in an Oct 2015 reservation as well. Can you not bank some of your Sept. 2014 points into your 2015 use year?

The points are a mix of banked, borrowed and current use year. To keep things simple, I was sticking to 2014 use year.

I have never purchased points before, but I'm very interested. My family of 4 is planning a trip in June. Our dates are flexible. We're looking for one week with magic your way tickets 6 days plus water park. Budget of 2, 500. Is this possible? I'm little nervous about the whole process. I've always stayed value and used a Disney authorized travel agent. This is very appealing, but I just want to be as informed as possible. Thank you!!

Tickets are separate from DVC accommodations. Off the top of my head, I don't know those prices. There is a sticky at the top of this board, along with a ton of other info on here that I would suggest you read before going further. In the DVC world, the number of points needed for a stay depends on the size of the unit, the actual dates, the resort and in most cases, the view. You can find the point charts on this site, too.
