Closed: Points for rent:114 at VGC ($11) and 174 discount OKW expiring 7/31/11 for $9

I know I should have done this months ago, but we are looking for a Thanksgiving week rental Nov. 20-26, 2011. We are flexible with resorts and even a little on the dates. We are a party of 8 adults and 6 kids (two are under age 3). I am guessing we will need to rent at least two units.

Hi. You will probably want two 2-BR units, each of which sleeps 8-9. Even a Grand Villa would be tight for 14 people including two babies. At SSR, for example, this would be 482 points, and I don't have that many at the moment, sorry.

That is a lot of DVC points and you may have trouble finding someone with that many to rent. After mid-June when my most recent OKW purchase passes ROFR, I will have enough points; if you are still in need at that time, please let me know, or if you email me at bookswin@aol.com I will contact you.

I'd be happy to put you on my renter's email list.

Hello,

My wife and I are crazy planners and are beginning preliminary
planning for our 2012 trip. We have always wanted to rent/stay DVC,
but never thought it feasible until we did some further research. We
would be interested in renting points for a stay at AKV studio (value)
for the dates of 10/20/2012 through 10/28/2012. According to point
calculators that would come out to 81 points. We also have 2nd, 3rd,
4th, etc. preferences too.

Our question to you is would you have points at AKV that far out? And
if so, could we "pre-reserve" them with you until the 11 month window
on 11/20/2011? We understand that you have many inquiries out there
and your points are going fast, but we'll patiently wait.
