If they close the parks (Easter week) will they still let you in if you have an ADR for that night?

If you mean close the parks due to capacity issues, if you are in the park, you will not have to leave. Those closures just stop people from parking and/or entering the park.

If you mean close as in operating hours, I do not believe any of the restaurants stay open past the park operating hours.

I mean close as in capacity, however we like to spend afternoons at the pool. So say we have and ADR for Le Cellier and EPCOT is closed for capacity reasons, can we get in to eat?

No...an ADR will not entitle you to entry into a park that has closed for capacity reasons.

If you're concerned about the park closing down, you need to stay put and not leave the park.

In my experience, on high volume days, the parks may close in the early afternoon (11-12ish). Most re-open in the early evening (around 3 or 4ish) when the early morning/day crowd leaves- so I think you should be ok for dinner ressie's. I would be more worried about lunch ressie's....good luck! :flower:

Keep in mind there are several phases of closing as well. Are you a resort guest? They are not impacted by the first (and possibly) second phase of closings.

Years back for my sweet 16, my parents decided to surprise me with a surprise party and then a trip to Disney and the Disney Cruise. Well my birthday falls over winter break (Dec. 29th) so we arrived in Disney the 30th and were staying there until Jan. 2 I believe.

We normally go a week after thanksgiving just to give you some perspective at what sort of lines we're used to...NONE.

On New Years Eve, we decided to go to what we thought would be the smartest park to go to was EPCOT.

EPCOT was full by 10AM in the morning. MK was full by 9:15. I have never disliked Disney so much as I did on New Years Eve that day. Besides the huge concentration of intoxicated people. It was so crowded I could barely move. My sister had to be taken back to the hotel because she was so joseled from people pushing her she felt nauseas. All I have to say is I will never, EVER go to Disney on a Closed Park Day to enjoy anything but people stepping on my toes, pushing me, seeing hot complaining parents slap their kids and yell at them, or feel like I was at Woodstock.

That's just my two cents.

It is not true that no restaurants are open after park closing. We had ADR's at Cindy's at 7:30pm on Jan. 9 and MK closed at 8pm. We didn't get out of there until around 10-10:30pm. We were never rushed, and we lingered over our cappuccino and even walked all over Main Street looking at windows. A security guard took our picture with the baseball player statue at Casey's and chatted a little, and for the first time ever I experienced the Kiss Goodnight.

Just wanted to let you know. :goodvibes
