Sorry I got us in trouble for the bumping!!!

I have printed out two pages with the info for the swapper after me. I was going to tape to the front (or side) of the box, and again to the top of the box. I printed her name in large, red letters. I am happy to print off a sheet that has out group's name on it. I am the 2nd swapper on the list, not sure the 1st swapper is going to be able to do anything for the box decorating. I've been looking for stickers to put on there, small to very large. Haven't run across anything yet, but will keep looking. If I go w/ wrapping paper, does it matter if it's Disney themed to you guys? I don't have any Disney wrapping paper. Actually, I just have some generic x-mas paper. But, happy to take it, and taking another roll of packing tape just in case.

I'm not sure wrapping paper is the best idea. I can see it ripping & getting very ugly very fast. I liked the idea of everyone kind of adding their own bit of personalization to it. If you want to wrap it, I think Christmas paper is perfect...could always turn it inside out & draw on it. LOL More along the make our own lines. I can't wait to see what this box is going to look like in 151 days when I get it!!!

I'm also glad we're adding people to our group! Especially in the August spot! That was super exciting! LOL Now we need a June swapper for the 10 day gap!

Well.. Hm.. I had the same problem with the wrapping paper idea. I could just see it tearing and becoming not so.. becoming.

I'm apparently easily amused right now.

So, I'll keep my eyes open for something just amazing. And I'll take the wrapping paper if nothing else. And a box of crayons. Give me and my girlfriends something to do on a relaxing afternoon.. since there's just so much time to do nothing at Disney!

I do wish we could fill both the bigger gaps in June. I updated my sig again today, but I just hate those two big gaps there! Here's hoping they notice the swap and come in soon!

We still have time...a whole month and change before the June gap. I'm not worried.

We are actually arriving on June 6 now, instead of June 7. I'd love to have the fridge that extra day, but don't want to keep someone else from getting it. That would actually cut the empty dates down to June June 2 -5. Just let me know. Either one is fine.

Re: the box - I don't know if it will be printed on the outside with pics of the fridge or not. If it's fairly plain on the outside, how about adding highlighter/marker decorations to the sticker idea. That may stand out.
Also, Duck/duct tape is made in lots of diff colors. We could use the DIS trademark lime green or some other bright color to tape with.

As far as I'm concerned, feel free to decorate the box anyway you see fit! If the mood strikes & you do make a big change, just take a pic & post it here so that we can see when you get back.

Wow, I take a few days off to plan my trip to the DR (had to cancel Mexico ) and the spaces have filled in nicely. Hmm...maybe I should take more time off??

I have some awesome villians stickers that I will bring to decorate the box - hopefully there will be room left! I love the idea of having a picture of what the box looks like and putting the name of our swap on the outside.

We'll be there the 24-31st of October and I see 3"Mouse"Keteers has it until the 25th which should make a face-to-face trade off easy peasy...

ETA: Just noticed your ticker and see you're having your baby in about a month! Congrats!!! I have a 4y/o and a 6mth old (who'll be about a year when we go.) My sister took my niece to WDW at 4mths...they had a WONDERFUL time!!

No, I don't think we're going to.
DH isn't entirely sold on taking Lucas when he's 5 months old so I think a halloween party might be pushing my luck a bit!

I think it's easier to take them at that age - they can sleep anywhere. As they get older, it's harder to get them to nap when there's so much going on and you have cranky kids.

I totally agree! As my mother always says "Babies are portable." And, the younger they are, the easier they are. LOL All they do is eat, sleep & poop. Although at 5mths, they like to play too, but they'll play w/ anything you give them! They're pretty much happy no matter where they are & they'll sleep pretty much anywhere they are...even at midnight in the MK during MNSSHP!

Make sure you utilize those baby care centers, Piecey!! They are WONDERFUL to change diapers, give you a nice cool place to feed your baby, and sell the essentials in case you happen to run out! They have a microwave you can use if you need it, and nice cushy changing tables...not the hard ones in the rest rooms. There's one in each park. I'm sure you know about them already...just putting it out there.

I'm super excited to take him. And I haven't even met him yet!
I think I am going to prebuy the Photopass CD because I think this will be a GREAT trip to get some family pictures!

DH doesn't 'get' Disney. He doesn't understand why I want to go so badly, etc. He really doesn't get it at all. He's never been though and promises me he'll give it a good effort. We'll see.

I'll have fun either way. I think October should be great- cool, slow and awesome decorations!

I'm just so glad he agreed. I'm not going back to work after baby is born so this may be our last spontaneous vacation because of $$.
