Not necessarily. There are a few swaps that have been going on for years....all for free. I hope this one will continue for quite some time...I'm already planning my next trip for Dec 2010. LOL I'm putting my dates in now. You never know!

You should PM both the person before you & after you to get their info. It seems you'll be swapping w/ letsbgoofy in person, so you should get her cell#. To hand off, you need the next swappers name, check-in date, reservation # and contact info (cell#). Of course, you should give that info to Letsbgoofy in case you can't coordinate a face-to-face so she can put it on the box. If face to face is not possible, on a piece of paper, write (or print out) the swappers info NEATLY and tape it to the front of the box so luggage services knows when it's going to get picked up and by whom. Nice & easy. Any more questions, let us know!

Already done. The 30 day thing was outdated info that was on the technical board...someone told me how. I've been changing it all along.

We are officially a free swap, which I intended it to be after the fridge was purchased anyway.

Still missing a couple of payments and still waiting to hear back from wegoshop.

There is nothing in this for me except a fridge, same as you. My time and effort is well worth it! If there is anything left over after the purchase of the fridge, it will go toward supplies.

And thanks to everyone! We wouldn't have a swap without our swappers!

Just realized that I haven't even subscribed to this thread yet. That might explain why I never seem to get an email when someone posts.

This new rule change is making me crazy. I feel like I have to be on the boards 24/7 so I don't miss something I might want to join before the swaps end tomorrow. Does anyone know of a support group for people who have become addicted to the budget board since the rule change?

NO support group for addicts before OR after the rule change. I feel like I'm on here 24/7. I don't know how my kids get fed or diapers get changed. LOL

Good new, swappers! Marge from Wegotravel said YES to the fridge & she has May 6th available. I'll call her tomorrow to set it up.

I'm off to PM the swappers who haven't chipped in yet...Can't talk about money after tomorrow!

Your right. Thanks for correcting me. I wouldn't want someone to see my post and think they couldn't join.

I knew the free swaps would continue. I'm just sad that there probably won't be any new swaps now so if the fridges get lost or strollers get broken it might eventually end all swaps. I am most upset about photopass since that's the one I like to host. I am assuming that those will have to end since there's really no way to make them free. I have one already set up for this year and hopefully there will be somewhere else to do them by next year. If not, no pictures for me.

It would be great if someone gets a web site going just for swaps. Maybe a separate section and leader for each type of swap. I'd be happy to run the photopass section. If only I knew where or how to set up a site.

OK. Sorry to take over for a minute. Just had to vent a little. I'll let everyone get back to the happy talk of FREE fridges and nice weather. BTW... nice day here in Indiana too.

From reading other threads it seems like a lot of people think that the swaps are all ending - just didn't want you to be one of the misinformed Ghostlady (because you are in the best fridge swap of course!)

I haven't figured out the photopass swap - I guess I should read some of the posts. I'm not even sure what photopass is...

It would be nice if there was a site to keep these swaps running with fees allowed.

Letsbgoofy - this will be my first trip to Disney World, I have made a couple ot trips to Disneyland. I have been lurking on the boards for the last couple of months planning.

GhostLady - We are arriving by cruiseship to Ft. Lauderdale and I have yet to arrange transpo to Orlando. The ship gets in early in the morning, I would imagine that we will be there by early evening. What time are you leaving?
