Piecey, the best vacation dvd is the one you make while you're there. Watching a planning dvd isn't the same as being there! Trust me, he'll love it. If not, there are some great divorce attorneys out there! You could use "Irreconcilable Differences over Disney". Pretty sure that's legit.

Earl of Sandwich is good - pretty inexpensive. If you are using a QS meal, I would choose Wolfgang Pucks - paying OOP I would choose the Earl.

Hey, all! Shena (sm723om) is back! She said our fridge is just like the pic, only white. She said it works great...the freezer takes a while to freeze, but once it was frozen it was FROZEN solid!

It DID fit a gallon of milk...however, when she brought in lots of leftovers from her meals, she ran out of room & found it better to buy 1/2 gallons.

One thing she mentioned is the box only has a piece of cardboard on the bottom...it's not a real box. (I have read about this on some of the other swaps...)I've PM'd her and asked if it would be better to pack it upside down (with the top of the box on the bottom & the cardboard on the top...fridge right side up!!) Waiting to hear her take on it... The lady at Wegoshop did mention that there are a bunch of fridges in luggage services she noticed that are part of swaps that are not in boxes at all...I'd like to avoid this as long as possible though. We'll all do the best we can. LOL

So, Sheri (aka Bambilover), if you think it would work better packed w/ the cardboard on top, please do that.

Shena also mentioned that she was told tipping wasn't necessary...I know they say that, but I feel we should anyway. Luggage services was left a hefty tip from us at the start (Wegoshop's policy...was about $20) but we want to keep them happy as long as possible. They are doing their job, but I don't think lugging fridges around was part of the original job description. LOL Use your own judgment here.

I'm so relieved to hear some news on our fridge! Glad it works!! LOL

This might sound like a silly question, but what do you do with the box? Should I just fold it up and put it somewhere in the room? I don't want to put too much wear and tear on it, but I'm sure it is too big to leave the way it is. Only 29 days left, so my mind is in overload...

You can fold it up...but it seems like it might be a pretty flimsy "box". When I did my last swap, I just put it up at the head of the bed against the wall, out of the way. It's in the corner, so it's not in anyone's way, & if someone's sleeping on the side, it's a place to put glasses or light bedside stuff.

When you get there, you'll find the best place for it that suits your needs. It's not something that would be on top of my list as things to worry about. Just go with the flow! Whatever you decide to do is fine.

That's what I did with the box for the swap I was in last year. We ended up sitting the laptop and my glasses and book on it in the evening. We may want someone to get bright colored duct tape and put it on the seams to help make it stronger. You can get lime green at Walmart along with other bright colors.

Well, I arrive on Saturday, so I'll check it out then. I will go and grab some colored duct tape. I'm a huge fan of blue, but that won't stick out as much, so I'll find something. And I'll figure out something on the box. Since we're driving, I'm taking a couple of extra boxes, so maybe I can break one down and see if it can stick on the box so there's cardboard on both sides. I'll see.

It had a roll of paper towels, a container of Clorox wipes & a roll of packing tape.

Shena, was all of that there when you picked it up? I never asked & you didn't mention...If it was, did you put it all in the fridge when you boxed it up or did you put it separate? Just let us know when you have the chance. Thanks!!

Sorry guys I haven't had to be online much since our trip is over!LOL! But when we checked it in Marge's assistant had it in a Walmart bag just sitting on top of the fridge. When we took it all back to luggage services we put it back in the bag with a seperate tag with Sheresa's name on it. We put it on top of the fridge and duck taped it to it really well. I have no idea how it got off unless someone actually took it off because it was taped securely on top. When DH took it back he got specific instructions how to tape it on there and they said it was fine. I would just check with them it should be there. It was paper towels, tape, and cleaner! Shena
