15 days for us till our 3rd stay at WL. So excited. Last stay was 2009. However, we will miss Ranger Stan. He was so much a part of WL.

Yea!!!:banana: I'm sure you are going to have a wonderful time. Say hi if you see me! LOL!

I can't believe you leave tomorrow!!! How long is your trip again??

pixiedust: for a great room!!!

Brian

Wednesday to Wednesday. Our flight doesn't leave til late afternoon so we'll get a half day we didn't plan on. Thursday morning we're doing the FW segway tour. :yay:

Having never stayed there, I'm not sure what a great room is- have no expectations of grandeur, simply happy to be there. :woohoo:

You leave the same day we arrive. But we'll be at AKL for 4 days before coming back to WL. What category of room did you get?

Have a fabulous trip and know you'll enjoy the Lodge! :goodvibes

Courtyard, upper floor, I think.

EXCELLENT!!! :cool1:

Just so you know at check in with the room number:
First digit is the floor number of course.
If second digit is a 0 you are in the north wing or lobby area. 1 is south wing.
Last digit has to be odd in order to be an inner courtyard room.

Thanks, that's helpful, especially if our rooms aren't ready when we arrive. I did wind up checking in online because the people we are traveling with did as soon as they were eligible. (I did it to keep things consistent) I know they're going to be chomping at the bit to hit a park.

Hey everyone! The countdown continues - only 18 days until my little girls and I check into Wilderness Lodge for our first visit. How many of you do online check in? Our flight doesn't land until 7:55 so we will probably get there around 9. Should I bother with online or wait until we get there?

Thanks!

I did online check in last year and it worked out great. Looks like we'll be there at the same time as you:-)

I've done both, but never really noticed any difference at a deluxe. Too bad we will be gone by the time you arrive.

I'll look for someone that looks like your avatar. Frightengly, if my hair were a bit longer, I'd look like Edna.

Beware of top floor rooms- they have a solid wall, so you can't see out unless you stand :( We got this balcony last time. So you might mention when checking in, that you don't want the privacy balcony! Unless you do of course

If you are staying connected while you're there, let me know about the segway tour. I was thinking about it too!

Guess you'll have left by the time we get there. 13 more days for us :goodvibes

I will have my eyephone with me, so somewhat connected. We've done the Epcot Segway tour and it was great fun. But wanted to mix it up a bit and have a change of scenery.

About the balcony, I'd probably have to stand on a chair to see over. Height is not a superpower I posess.

:rotfl: Then you'll def. want an open balcony so you can enjoy the view! I think the FW segway sounds fun!

That is too bad!! I hope you have a great time. I keep meaning to tell you that I'm in MD too! :)
Awesome!! I live in Largo right by the Redskins Stadium.

I'll be in the MK your last day. ;-)

Ahh forgot about those Rooms 6000-6034 and 6130-6166 are enclosed. I always request 5th floor.

Maybe you'll see me. We are at WL from 1/15 to 1/17.
