I will definitely be checking in with all of you here! If I knew how to post pics from my iphone I would do that as well - but photo posting is still a mystery to me! LOL

Easiest way with your phone is to download the Snapbucket app. All you need is a free Photobucket account. You can then take photos using Snapbucket and it will automatically generate an image (IMG) code by automatically uploading it to Photobucket. Just copy/paste the IMG code into your post and the photo will appear. You can also upload photos manually to a free photo sharing site, such as Photobucket.

We will be arriving at WL tomorrow evening! Can't wait to step in to the lodge for the very first time! We are a little bummed the stream/waterfall work is still ongoing (since they had said they were expecting to wrap up the first week of July!), but we will make the best of it and learn to love the workers and the scrims. LOL

I do believe that I forgot to ask if I could be added to the LL. Our trip at the WL from August 10th-18th. So Excited!!!!

Us, too for the LL, please! We were going in november, but have made the switch. It'll be January 24-31. Now, if only the package rates would come out!

DH Has asked to stay until December, if that happens, I will move the reservation to January.

If they don't let him stay until December and he comes home with his original dates we probably won't be going.

The only way we would be able to go (and I have been working on this at home, is to save money by selling things. I am looking at having a yard sale).
Or my Short Term Disability back pay is approved, which I am currently in a bitter appeals process with Cigna.

But right now, it's not looking good for any of it

We're staying DVC from Aug 31-Sept 5. My friend called MS yesterday and was told that 'our' pool wasn't being impacted, there was nothing being done for DVC people. Pretty typical Disney. No, our pool isn't being rehabbed. But it is going to be full to overflowing with non-DVC people. When the main pool gets crowded, guests tend to head over to Hidden Springs. Hopefully we can use the pool for the first part of our stay. I hope.
I think that what bothers me the most is the inconsistency here. DVC is yet again treated like the red headed step-child...they have our money, so tough luck. And those non-DVC guests that call and ' complain' are compensated. Those that don't know they can call and complain get nothing. Just leaves a somewhat bad taste in my mouth. Now....if Disney fenced in Hidden Springs, and made it villa accessible only? Fine. But I have a feeling that if that pool was shut down for a massive rehab, DVC people would be told that they could still use the main pool, so no compensation.

Next question is on topic! Our return flight leaves Orlando @ 5:15 pm. What time will we need to be back at WL to catch ME?

The ME for a 5:15pm would normally pick up around 2:15pm. It is usually scheduled to arrive at your resort. three hours before flight time but it could be adjusted a little.

You will get a letter delivered to your room a day before your departure. The letter contains the pickup time.

Buses typically run an hour after park time. You may still be able to catch one that late or possibly take a resort bus and transfer there. Cab is also an option.

One of my family members is a bit of a fitness nut and liked to use the health club at the BC when we stayed there and wants to know if he will be able to use the facility at the WL during our stay this year.

We did Rainforest Cafe after hours two years ago and we were able to catch the bus back to our resort. I'm not sure if there is a direct bus to Epcot at that point, buses seemed limited but while the restaurant is open, they will bus you.

Short answer: No, but...

Two kinds of doors are programmed:Common access doors and your room door. Common access doors include the health club at your resort. If your room isn't ready upon check-in, the CM may give you a KTTW card that will open resort common access doors. When your room is available, you will be able to use your MB to enter it and common access doors. There can be door issues sometimes though when WiFi signals drop out or if CA hasn't been enabled. If this happens, wait a few moments and try again and/or see any resort desk CM for assistance. My MB wouldn't get me into Ship Shape our first morning and another guest had to come and open the door for me. The Common Access feature was not enabled, but a CM fixed it.

In Photobucket, click on the photo, then click EDIT. Then choose EDIT SIZE. A nice size is anywhere from about 450-650, then it will automatically set the vertical size based on that.

Have you seen the MB decorating thread? GrandCalifornian's wife, Melissa found it and posted the link in their PTR. There are some very creative folks out there. BTW, I still love your name

We have a cruise through NCL in February that is still booked.
But even that isn't guaranteed now.

Everything is just falling out from underneath us.

I've added your dates and I'm glad your feelings aren't easily hurt You've been added, too and congratulations! You're not crazy at all and you knew a good thing when you had it. Glad you got it back and your dates have been logged. The Lodgers' Log is in POST 2 where the WL/VWL NEWS is located. Just post your dates/resort and I'll add them to the LL
