Kook - Thank you so much for the info. I definitely do not like chaotic and never even thought of BC and YC sharing. Oh and I really dislike the idea of a rooftop view.

We were thinking of a bit of a cheaper trip, so no CL in June wherever we stay. But may I ask what you did not like about their CL at BWI?
You're welcome. I thought DS might prefer a more relaxed setting:)

Every time I walked out of my YC CL room, the view out the hallway windows was of the wet, dirty rooftop full of pebbles. The window was partially covered, which was also a negative, but was intended to block the view. However, our room view was not of a rooftop.

Here is the link to my BWI/CL review from last spring break:

Sitting outside of the Old Faithful Club right now. Offerings tonight were BBQ chicken skewers, shepherds pie (yum), pb&j shooters, 4 kinds of cheese and multiple crackers. Carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and broccoli for the crudités. Turkey Rollups and some type of bean salad. The staff replenished frequently.

At breakfast time, there was plenty of fresh fruit in addition to the oranges, apples and bananas out all day. And there was oatmeal. Don't know what else was out at that time because I just looked in briefly on our way to get a taxi to an early ADR.

We are really enjoying ourselves! Got room 7044 which is a MK view. Very nice and near the elevators to the pool and the boat.

Mouse keeping and CL staff have been great so far! Today was our first full day here and we came back to find 4 towel animals. :-)

Hope you enjoy the stay! I wonder what kind of cobbler there will be tonight.....

Apple cobbler tonight. Peach berry cobbler last night.
Are they back to the fresh sliced apples or still canned cubes?

Enjoy dessert and drinks and thanks so much for your great live update! I don't recall a Sheperd's Pie.

And my husband had 3 plates of the shepherds pie! It was a very nice surprise.

YAY still oatmeal!

Thanks for the report!

We were thinking of a bit of a cheaper trip, so no CL in June wherever we stay. But may I ask what you did not like about their CL at BWI?

Hi there! We are actually staying at the BW Villas in July :thumbsup2. This will be our first time trying out that resort. We, like Kook, are not doing CL though. We have friends that will only stay at the BW because they love it so much. :flower3:

We do love the Wilderness Lodge, but have also stayed Yacht Club, non CL. We tried the CL there but it wasn't our favorite. We usually have a water view room so we get very nice views.

Just to throw this one in. As we go to Disney so often, many times we stay at the Swan Resort. We really like this resort. The room rates are usually fantastic, especially if you are wanting a deluxe resort with a non-deluxe price tag. We book a standard room. We have had some amazing views also. Although, usually we have no balcony but surprisingly we don't miss it.

Hope this helps, just throwing out some ideas for you. :)

My family of 4 is traveling with my cousin and her family of 3. My family wanted to ask about being the "Flag Family" when we check in but I would feel terrible if my family got to do it and her's didn't. Do you know how many people are allowed up at one time? Do you think we could be a family of 7 and do it together? Thanks!

Are you at BWV or BWI? Swan sounds like a great choice as they have the queen beds and Dolphin only has the doubles. I've yet to try Swan, but was tempted for spring break, but they're sold-out. What do you think of the bathrooms there? Some photos make them look a bit outdated, but I may have only seen older photos.

You know, I don't know what the limit is, but that sounds like a good plan to me. When you check-in, why not ask if your FF request could be consolidated? I think it would be so much fun to have your whole family up there at the same time.

The bathrooms are outdated, but they are clean. We have been lucky with getting very clean rooms there. They have recently put in new rain shower heads and also the hand held shower piece, which makes it really nice.

The rooms are nice and very large. The beds are wonderful and I love the comforters that they have. A lot like what Disney has now but more cushy.

Actually as we do prefer the Swan, we also have stayed at the Dolphin and liked that too. I think that the beds are doubles but closer to queens in size. Sounds wierd but hubby is over 6' and he fits comfortably.

We're big fans of Swan & Dolphin. I've stayed at both many times, sometimes free on points (a perk Disney doesn't offer!) The bathrooms are more standard than some Disney ones, but I have no complaints. The shower & toilet room is tight, but we found it to be just as tight at BC, which is double the price.

We are a couple hours from arriving. Getting quite anxious. DGD is so excited she randomly starts to giggle and dance in her car seat.

Great to know this for a future visit - thank you both:)

You just gave me a squishy stomach, :goodvibes

I do that same thing as we start getting closer. It's hard to hold in the happiness!
