I SO CANT WAIT!!!!! Everytime I come to this thread I get more excited about staying at BWV this August..:dance3: We are in the villa studios and thinking I may not leave the resortpopcorn::

Hopefully I will be able to post some for you on Sunday!!

Jacqui
Thank you! If you're staying CL, we'd love some lounge photos for the thread.

Thanks for the warm welcome. After long days walking through the parks, the hot tubs will be exactly what we need. The lack of hot tubs was always shortcoming at Poly.
I forgot to :welcome: you to the DIS and the thread!

Thanks, Kook! You have open permission to use any of my photos at any time. :). I think I've posted most of them over time, but I have more on my Flikr page, feel free to grab any.

On the Villa side, the elevator lobbies have a doorway out to a balcony that overlooks the pool. That was taken from the fifth floor, if I remember correctly.
I had that picture as my iPad screensaver for about six months, it's one of my favorites. Glad you like it!

I think this is the other pic you've said you liked in the past.

The pool can be very picturesque if you can avoid the red headed guy. :clown:
Yes, I do love that and I posted it in POST 1. You not only avoided the c l o w n, but also all the people:thumbsup2. Great photos and I'll have to peruse your Flikr sometime for more photos for the first page.

That is a great pic too PSAC!:)

Does anyone have a layout of the BWI that tells where the club level lounge is on the 4th floor in relation to the garden view suites? Thanks!

In the overhead imagery above, the cottages are in the NE quadrant, ground floor, facing the quiet pool area. The lounge is on the 4th floor above the quiet pool. This is the view from the lounge balcony of the cottages down below and the quiet pool:

Have you thought about moving to Lake Buena Vista?!

Have you thought about moving to Lake Buena Vista?!

You didn't ask me, but I'm ready to move to Golden Oak. As soon as I win the lotto or someone on the DisBoards just gives me a few $million, after taxes.

Just saw a couple pictures of the lounge and really, nothing has changed except the furniture. What a shame they couldn't do more.

And the drapes and carpet. There is still a lot of work going on and I wouldn't be surprised if more will be changed along the way.

Hey all. Having not stayed at BWI before. One of the requests that I put in was for the 2 queen bed and day bed set up. Actually it's the number one request as I the family make up is as follows me, DW, DS14, DS2, DD-7months. Really don't see the 14 year old and toddler sharing a bed :S

We have booked a std room CL what are your thoughts and securing that request?

Cheers

Howdy, Neighbor! Looks like we might be neighbors over at GO;). Hope to see you over at the (Mickey Mouse?) club house:thumbsup2

So there isn't even a fridge for the drinks/yogurt?

All CL rooms are supposed to be available for booking and the lounge completed by tomorrow, 6/13. Jacqui is checking in to a CL room on Sunday. When Kerry told me about the photos, I assumed they finished a few days early and they were officially done:confused3

Welcome!

All of the rooms have a daybed and with an occupancy booking over two, they wouldn't put you in a king room. There aren't many CL king rooms so you don't need to request two queens or a daybed. Common room requests for a CL STD room would be for a BoardWalk View or some prefer the Epcot side where they can see some of IllumiNations. Some also request a room that is close to the lounge or some prefer to be further away. Those are really the only requests for a STD CL room. You can email the IPO your request/corrections.

If you were to book a Deluxe CL room, then you would have two queens and a queen sleeper in a sitting area with an extra TV. 5/10 rooms are on a different floor than the lounge so some request the 4th floor where the lounge is. All of those rooms have a BWV and two queens/pull-out sofa.

AWESOME!!

Makes me rest easy knowing I wont have to hear the two of them bugging eachother all night.

Chances are though that DS2 will want to sleep with DW, I will get the other queen and then DS14 will get the floor. :rotfl2:

Such is life - DD 7m will either be in pack'n'play or crib. But I'm leaning towards p'n'p.

Funny I think I've already lived this vacation about a dozen or so times in my head. Dang, I like planning waaaay too much ... lol:dance3:

Question1: We've requested a garden view as I have heard that the noise from the boardwalk can be disruptive late into the night. Is this accurate. With two lil' ones I was erring on the side of caution. Would a boardwalk view be ok? I think I would love the ability to pop out on the balcony and enjoy a beer while watching the streetmosphere.

Question2: Over at WDWinfo, it mentions that "Valet Parking free to Resort guests". I don't think that's accurate, is it?

Thanks

It's been years since I've posted photos here on disboards. Can someone tell me how to do it so that I can post the photos that I took this morning in the lounge? Thanks!

I think if you click the insert image above when you are in the ADVANCE post reply it asks you for a URL. It does for me anyways, which means the images would have to be uploaded somewhere on the net.

HTH

PS - looking forward to seeing some of the pics...

The easiest and fastest way would be to email the photos to me and I will post on your behalf. I will PM you. The other method is to post your photos to a photo sharing site such as Photobucket. This will generate an IMAGE (IMG) code. This is the code you will copy/paste to this thread.

Do you also have a rehabbed room? We would love photos of the new room! Thank you!

WDWKOOK Have you thought about moving to Lake Buena Vista?![/QUOTE said:
Would love to but being Canadian poses some money and job issues. If I have won the Lotto last week like 26 people did in Ottawa I would have a million plus to use :cool1: Oh right I have to start buying tickets to win..knew there was something I was missing..:rotfl2:

Came to see if there were CL lounge & room rehab photos & looks like they'll be up soon! Yay!

Looking for some club level room pictures as well! I hope it's more than just some new drapes and carpets. When we were there in Feb. the cast members seemed so excited about getting a new lounge and they said there was even talk of turning one of the guests rooms into a small kitchen so they could expand the food a little more. Right now I think most of the food comes from Kouzzina so with that closing soon I thought this made sense. Guess I'm going to be really disappointed.

I have received the great lounge and room photos courtesy of HARASW! For the sake of the thread, I will pause from house cleaning in order to upload, edit and post. Oh, the sacrifices:rolleyes:
