(CLOSED) Disney's BOARDWALK INN and VILLAS INFORMATION THREAD

I prefer not to be on the 2nd floor as those balconies are enclosed. you have to stand to see out, and their darker. hubby likes a lot of light as he has low vision. but I didn't put floor # on the request as VG is more imp. to us. shorter walk, and almost a boardwalk view. and 2nd floor would be very convenient, so we'll just let the cars fall where they lay!!!

Smidgy....I used to follow Nebo's TR when I was on here more often. I looked back through some of the last TR's...does he still get on the Dis?? Always enjoyed following along on his TR adventures. Hope is doing well. Glad to hear that you guys will be going back soon.....and over my Birthday nonetheless!!

thanks so much for your compiments! I will tell Nebo.. unfortunately he doesn't getont he computer much anymore. it's hard for him to focus on the screen now with his macular degeneraton.. also, he broke his wrist and can't type much.

we really need to get him a laptop or tablet with large print and/or voice recognition software. he really misses writing those reports!!! thanks so much!

Yes Sandi, you are correct. We will be at Wyndham Bonnet Creek for the last night. Although my WBC reservation is for 5/10-5/12. They are booked solid so no changing it now. Was thinking of just staying at BWV for that last night but no points ressies available and the points category is garden/pool while cash ressies are standard view. Therefore, we'd have to move anyway.

Very excited. Love love love the Epcot Resort Area!

At the boardwalk and we love it! This is our first time here!! This has been my dream hotel to stay at and I'm in love it's gonna be hard to stay somewhere else next time ! We are on the 4th floor looking out at Luna pool which my daughter loves !!! Absolutely love being so close to Hollywood studios !!! Only a three night trip wish it was longer but loving and enjoying every minute here! The most we have ever sent time at our resort while at disney !!!!!

Where we are there isn't much action in the pool real late, they close at 11 and last night I don't even think there was people in that late. It's very quiet where we are I was worried because I have read a lot of people talking about noise and a trash truck beeping early etc but we haven't experienced any of that just nice and quiet over here in the villa side for us

Thanks! We had a Boardwalk view villa when I was still a night shifter. So sleep the first few days of vacation was always rough. The Boardwalk noises drove me NUTS. Tha ding from (i think) the basketball throw tormented me. I am no longer a night shifter for the past 1.5 years so I don't have as much trouble sleeping so hopefully, I'll be alright!

Hello!

In regards to the Innkeeper's Club renovations, is it just the lounge? Or the rooms too?

And does anyone know if the renovations will include the addition of a refrigerator for the drinks in the lounge, versus the tub of ice that they currently use? I don't know why that bothers me so much.

I think the tub bothers everyone, including the cast members!! I know they have been asking for the fridge for years. The last remodel the lounge got they asked for one, but were told there was no room!!!

I will see if I can find anything out tomorrow when I get there, but the cast members are always the last to know!

I know. Can't wait to see all the decorations there. We went over Christmas our first trip and couldn't get over the parks deco for the Holidays. We LOVED the Osbourne lights. Chance was only 6 months that first, so we are excited for him to see them for the first time!!
