CLOSED-CD Ordered Last minute PP CD Share-Going in January or 1st week Feb.

Hi all, I was hoping to get a few of my DD9 friends families to join in on a CD share but it looks like they're not interested. Of course, when I gave them a CD of all the pix we took with them in WDW and DLR, for free, they were very happy but I can't get them to commit to sharing the cost of a new one.

So, I'm looking for 1 or 2 families who are going to DLR in January and would like to share the cost. I have to order the CD by Feb. 7th so it has to be someone going, and returning, soon. Hopefully this will work with a few disboarders schedules and we can all save a little $$

The DLR CD costs $59.95 plus $7 shipping. I would love to split the cost between 2 or 3 families and add on the small cost of mailing it to you.REVISED-looks like it should only cost $15-18 each.

PP works the same way at DLR. They have almost all the same "enhancements" that WDW does. I think the only one they don't have is Simba.

Basically, a goup of us agrees to share the cost of a PP CD from DLR. I've already set up a PP account. You go to DLR and get as many PP pix taken as you can. Then when you return, and after I receive your portion (hopefully around $15-18, by PayPal) then I will give you my PP account info so you can upload your PP card(s) and edit (enhance) them. Everyone's edits need to be done by Feb. 7th so I can order the CD by the 8th.

Once I receive the PP Cd(s) I will copy your pix on a CD and mail it to you. I will include a copy of the copyright agreement so you can have copies made. That's all there is to it. As I said, I ran a small one in Sept.08 and participated in one in Sept. 07. Great way to save some $$-more to spend in the parks.

ADDED-or I just had a thought-I'm going to be there on the 28th as well. Also maybe the 30th (this is up in the air right now.) Maybe we could meet up on the 28th and even take a picture together (so it looks more legit!). Let me know.

Sounds good to me! Looks like it'll be $15 each. As of now I only have 274 pix (after edits. about 160 before). I haven't enhanced all of them yet and we are going to DLR on Wed. and possibly Friday. Planning on trying to do Jedi Training again on Wed. DD9 was picked, for the first time, just recently and had a great time. My fav. PP photog may be shooting pix there this Wed.

I hate to waffle on you but I'm worried I won't be able to have them all enhanced by the 8th. Last time it took me right up to the deletion week with everything else going on. I may have to pass this time and plan better next time!

Let me know. I know that when I did it in Fall 2007 it took forever to do my edits. The site took forever to load. Fall 2008 it was much faster. I was very pleased with it's speed even when I was over 2000 pix.

If you change your mind, let me know. Oh, and we'll probably be there on Friday, the 30th as well. Look for us! I'll have my LGMH on my black messenger bag, most likely wearing Croc sandals-see our pictures on first post to see what we look like.

ADDED-Fiestygirl I was just looking at my PP account and while the pix at the beginning of my account exp. 2-9-09 others will exp. on 2-7-09. Is it possible to get yours uploaded and editted by the 7th? I could help upload for you if you won't have internet while at DLR. We could communicate by celphone. Let me know. Last time my pictures remained for at least a week past the expiration date but I don't want to count on it this time. TIA

I realize I'm a little late in replying, but I was at the DLR on just Jan 17th and would like to participate in the photopass share. The Feb. 7th order date won't be a problem for me.
