Closed attractions at Hollywood Studios....

In searching for news articles about Rivers of Light at AK, I came across a statement in an article about Hollywood Studios and how there are attractions that are closed that were just opened last summer. But they didn't say what attractions.

Which ones are they talking about?

Maybe they meant that attractions that were open last summer are now closed. Not that they were opened (for the first time) last summer.

The stunt show Lights camera action, streets of america, honey I shrunk the kids playground, that jack sparrow minishow and I forget which meet and greet has been closed for the construction of star wars and toy story land. Prior to last summer in 2014 the backstage tour also closed. the pizza place next to muppets has been closed as well while they redo it as pizzarizzo (muppet themed). Also the quick service and that 1 gift shop in the back also is closed as that's where construction is happening.

Now they also closed down that animation studio (forget the real name) to make it the star wars launch bay.

Basically anything behind star tours all the way over to TSMM is now a construction site and where star wars and toy story land are happening.

There are actually very few "closed attractions" at DHS... compared to how many are still in full operation.

All that has closed is Backlot Tour (closed two years ago), Honey I shrunk the kids playground (closed a year ago) and Lights Motors Action (also a year ago).

LMA and the Streets of America closed less than 6 months ago

Club Disney and the dance party. All other closures in 2016 were of attractions that had been there at least several years.

There were also some merchandise locations like Oaken's Trading Post. Is Watto's Grotto still there?

No. Basically anythign between star tours and tsmm is gone (and mostly demolished already) with the exception of that little corner the muppets, their gift shop and the 2 dining places are located
