And a total shot in the dark, praise Jesus miracle.....Grand Californian 9/12 thru 9/20???

I just checked availability and the night of Dec. 20 is no longer available. If you are new to the forums, first thing is to make sure you can private message (PM) by posting at least 10 times outside of the Rent/Trade board and then go through a 24-hour waiting period. Rental transactions can only be completed through PM by exchanging personal information such as name, email, phone, etc. This kind of information is not allowed to be shared in the posts themselves. I had a rental booked for this week from one of the major companies and obviously it's been a disaster as they are closed, but I do hope to book with someone else for Christmas time. Is there an easy way to try to figure out how many points a 1BR would require for Dec. 25-27 (2 nights)? Would prefer something near MK or EPCOT.

Hi, the two nights you want are in DVC's premium category so point requirements would be highest of the year. Also, I won't reach the 7-month booking window until 4 days from now, so I can only book Beach Club right now since this is my home resort. For Beach Club, there is availability for both studios (56 points) and 1 bedroom (112 points). I have enough points to help you with a Beach Club studio for your dates but not the 1 bedroom.

I am sorry to hear about your vacation plans being cancelled and trouble with the broker. I can sympathize because I know of another family in the same boat. I don't know if Disney is still offering free dining to guests whose reservations have been cancelled by Disney due to the pandemic. My friend got that offer but you have to book direct with Disney and give them the reservation number that was cancelled.
