Closed 2 weeks ago - points not yet showing?

Hello everyone,

We closed on a BWV resale 2 weeks ago today. I have been checking my account online and the points are still not showing. Am I supposed to call Member Services? I thought they would just show up in my account?

Same boat here...waiting for our resale add-on to show up....nothing yet.

Ours took 15 calendar days from the date that Disney received the actual paperwork. The closing date that you were given could be the day that the deed was recorded in the county, but it might take another day or so to get to Disney? Not sure how Orlando works and whether deeds are electronically sent. Anyhow, our points showed up in our account on Day 15 from Disney getting the paperwork.

As long as the names on your account were identical and everything was the same as your previous account, the points will show up and you will be so excited . We closed 4/13 and points showed up on 5/3.

I am still waiting for the points to show up in my account. Deed was recorded 5/2 and I was told 7 to 10 days to see points in my account.

I closed exactly 14 days ago and my points were added today! Oh yea and used today also!

Wow, we've purchased three resales and never waited more than a few days. Either, times have changed, or we were very lucky...three times.

DVC is backed up with the overflow of resale contracts that were sold pre- 3/20, our 1st resale was a matter of days, 3 I think.

Disney is very back logged for the next couple weeks getting new members that purchased resales into the DVC system. Transfer of membership and points has been taking about 14 days on the average.

We deal with Disney on a daily basis and I am sure they are doing their best. It is my understanding that they should be "caught up" shortly and back to the 5 to 7 days time period to set up new members. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Got caught by the backup also. Initially was told 6-10 days but due to the back log actually took 15 days.

We received our initial documents on February 2, submitted for ROFR February 14, passed ROFR on March 14. Received closing documents on April 8, and officially closed on April 26. Finally May 13 we are in the system! It took over 3 months, but it was worth it (although I can understand why some people buy direct!)

Called this afternoon, were in the system and pts were too. They also let us bank past the deadline since closing took so long. Made our first reservation. Sooo glad to have this finally done with!!

Yea! Another person got their points....hopefully this week I'll be able to post the same. I keep checking my DVC account online to see if it posted but nothing yet....

how do you check if you are registered online? I thought you needed your membership number before you can get online. I've been calling MS daily to see if I'm "in"
