Clock is really ticking now.. What do you have left to do?

Tree is up and decorated; living room is decorated (well - the mantel - LOL); all stocking stuffers purchased; all gifts wrapped..

All we have left to do is bake some cookies this weekend and it's clear sailing from that point on till Christmas Day..

How is everyone else doing?

We have a lot left to do. House is clean and cookies are made but there are still a ton of gifts left to buy! My mother in law just came in this past weekend and will be staying over the holidays with us and has done no Christmas shopping so guess what we will be doing this weekend!

I have 2 more gifts to buy and about 8 to wrap. I also need to finish up the scrapbooks I'm making for my mom and MIL. Other than that, I'm pretty much done.

Tree is up and Disney xmas houses are on the mantle but that's about it... I have a few present purchased and many more on the way - thank you Amazon!!!!!! Not a thing has been wrapped

I have Xmas week off so I'll be a little busy

I have most of everything bought LoL - house is almost clean

I still have gifts from fil to wrap for the kids and all of dh's shopping for the kids (have to love him though)

still have to get stuff to make cookies and make the cookie tree that FIL's wife sent but I'm waiting till this weekend when the boys come so they can help,. they LOVE to the tree or the gingerbread house (dh convenience me one year they were too old and I got the backlash from for a very long time) I'll won't listen to him again just like when I didn't do the P.j.s one b/c of dh no more listening to him

Wow! Some of you have already cleaned your house and it will actually stay clean until Christmas day? I am lucky if my house stays clean for 24 hours. I won't be cleaning until Wednesday and just hoping things will stay clean until Friday.

But my dad had a massive stroke this am (I've been living with him for the past decade) so will probably not do anything except plan for the funeral when he passes. The doctors said his time left is in days or hours at most. He is comfortable and has not regained consciousness.

This is so sad to hear. I'm very sorry that your father has fallen ill and so close to Christmas. I pray for strength for you to get through this Christmas.

All the decorating is done, baking is done, one or two gifts still need wrapping and I need a couple of stocking stuffers, have to go grocery shopping. Waiting for DH to clear his junk out of the spare bedroom so I can make up the bed (the kids are coming home for 10 days). And then I'm calling it done! Well, besides a last minute tidy, and all the cooking and doing dishes and making sure everyone has towels and..... But other than that I'm done.

Well I have my last 2 finals tomorrow and friday. On sunday I'll be leaving to drive home with dbf. I will then be starting a mega cookie baking marathon.

I still have tons to wrap, and maybe a bit of shopping too.

What do I have left to do, you ask? Stop commiserating with threads like these and actually get things done.

We just returned from our Disney trip. I still have last-minute shopping to do on Friday and I'll be baking practically nonstop for a huge Christmas party on Saturday. Just finished writing out cards tonight; they'll be in the mail tomorrow morning.

All we really have left to do is some baking (DH does this) and clean the house tomorrow. We are having DH's family over for our party for that side of the family on Saturday. We are going to my Dad and Stepmom's house for Christmas so we don't have to do anything to get "ready" for that other than pack and load up the car.

Once the kids leave this morning I am going to wrap. I have everything bought but a gift for my MIL and I will shop for that tomorrow.
House is decorated (has been for a while now) cards are sent out and I am not hosting for the first time so I am feeling a little lost... LOL!!!
Kids have a half day of school next Wed. I will be picking up my youngest dd and my niece from school and the girls will decorate sugar cookies for Christmas!!
