Merry Christmas everyone!!!
My family is looking to relocate to Florida - Somewhere central
We have kinda been looking at Clermont.
We would like to know any info regarding this city, town that you can tell us
or if there is a better town
Thank you for your help :sunny:

Clermont is a nice area. Unlike most of Orlando, it actually has hills! I've only been out there a few times. That is where my doctor's office is located. From what I've seen it seems nice. There is still a lot of undeveloped country there.

It's very nice there. I was going to move there, however, my employer had a different location in mind for me and I ended up closer to Tampa.

Very friendly people, area is growing and gaining a lot of amenities, schools are nice, too.

Do you have school age children, are schools a concern for you?

If so, Check out Oviedo, Fl. Good schools, I checked them out already, when we were looking to move there. We started in Clermont and wound up looking in the Oviedo area, also Lake Mary is nice. Also check out Avalon Park in Orlando, Except for the middle school which isn't built yet, the elementary and High School are on their property.

Well good Luck

I wish it was me. :(

I live down the road from Clermont near Loughman. We are locating on the rolling hills also off Route 27. The Four Corners area is a rapidly growing area. It is a beautiful area with lots of open land and orange groves.

It is a very nice area to live.

I live in Clermont. I'm in the Northern part, off 27 and a few miles south of route 50.

I love it here. It's still almost semi-rural, but it is growing fast. I don't have school aged kids, but I understand the schools are pretty good here. I live in Legends, one of the many golf course communities in Clermont.

Housing here ranges from smaller 3/2 homes right around $200,000 to beautiful custom built homes for well over a million.

We have beautiful rolling hills, and a lot of homes have a view of a lake or even Disney World in the distance. I can see the fireworks (and hear them LOL!) everynight, as can many in Clermont. There's a strong community here, and almost always something going on either in Clermont, or one of the other nearby towns--Minneola had snow sledding a couple weeks ago on Saturday evening!

We have great amenities for a small town. A good general hospital and medical services, shopping, houses of worship, etc. There's not much for nightlife here, but that's available a short drive away in Universal, WDW, or downtown.

As the town grows, employment opportunities right in Clermont are growing as well, and depending on your field, employment is readily available within a 30 mile or less commute.

Not sure exactly what you are looking for information wise. Just ask and I can try to help.

Anne
