You bet! I loved the first, and saw it all the way back in 1996 and thought it was great and watch it every now and then. I love Kevin Smith movies, and he was an awsome guy when I randomly ran into him in Red Bank NJ. Jersey represent! (I wish I still lived there)

That's exactly the point.

Clerks one had no plot. No point. It was basically just a big huge mess of little gag here, little gag there. That's why it was great though.

Actually the original plans were to make a sequel, and it's certainly not for the money. The only reason the guy who plays Randal came back is because he liked the script.

It's just that it's a relatively old movie, and it's kind of weird that they're coming out with a sequel this late. I'll admit, the commercials do look funny. I hope they're not the best jokes in the movie, though.

Yes, but there have been some late sequels before.

I just got back from seeing Clerks II a few hours ago, and it was very funny. If you were a big fan of the first one, there are alot of inside jokes from the first one. I also thought the ending was really nice too. Let me know what you guys think if you see it.

I know Kevin Smith's neice... She lives in my town. She had a bit part in one of the extras ion the DVD of the original Clerks movie. she was like 5 at the time. lol

saw it today, before we went we watched clerks 1, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jersey Girl and Dogma (all have mixed characters from these movies) and i thought clerks 2 was outstanding im sorry but you cannot beat jay and silent bob i love those guys, Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) is a genious. starwars vs lotr....brilliant lol a must see, but watch clerks 1 first
