Clearwater Beach

Hi, we have decided to go to Clearwater Beach on one of our rest days. Could you reccommend somewhere to stay if we decide to stay the night, and somewhere to have dinner. There will be me, wife, DD aged 8 DS aged 6.

Several good hotels on the beach, can recommend 'Radisson Suite Resort', 'Sheraton Sand Key Resort', 'Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort' or 'Holiday Inn Sunspree' all are either on or close to the fabulous beach.

I have heard there are major roadworks on the route to Clearwater, if you go and you have any comments is there any chance you could send me an email on how long it took you to get there etc??

I'll post a message on the boards (if someone doesn't beat me to it) about the drive when we get to the hotel. I went to Hotelkingdom for a nosey & found Adams Mark on the beach at Clearwater, wife liked the look of it so we booked it. A lot of the hotels at Clearwater were booked for the day we wanted.

The Adams Mark is a very nice hotel on a great location. You shouldn't have any problems staying here (other than wanting to leave ).
